Was a little higher priced than I wanted to spend, but decided to spend the extra money& get what I really liked! It makes my front porch look so cozy& tropical, bought one for each end of porch,and spent enough money, so I can take 6mo.to pay it off if I desire. I have had it up a week so far, what a wonderful amount of airflow I get!

We updated our back porch with two Grand Cayman fans. The look that we've been looking for both in style and color. Very well made for outside porch. We are both very satisfied with our purchase.

First time installing a ceiling fan and my husband and I got it up and working perfectly within an hour. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow. We didn't want to install the light that comes with the fan and that was an easy fix as all parts to install it this way are supplied in the box. I was worried about the fan wobbling but it ran perfectly steady and smoothly after installation so there was no need for the balancing kit which also come with the fan. Overall we are so pleased with the looks and ease of installation of this beautiful fan.

This is a beautiful fan. Quiet and fairly easy to install. It looks even better in person. I wanted my bedroom to feel like I am on a tropical island. It's very soothing. The globe makes it a little dim; so I recommend having additional lighting; but it's so elegant.

The fan has a really poor design around the glass globe and breaks easily. During the middle of the night we heard a glass crack. Turn on the light and discovered the glass globe started to break up the side. This happens if you just hand tight the the finial until it stops/starts given resistant and not over tighten the finial. For the price you expect something that is better quality that doesn't break after 2 days. I will say the air flow is really good for the fan and currently the only thing going for it.

This fan doesn't disappoint. I looks amazing and puts out a ton of airflow. I had been contemplating buying this fan but I wasn't sure about the blades and how they would look in my room. Everytime I went to home depot I would take a look at the display model..but wasn't thrilled. After buying a different fan for looks and it didn't work out because there was no airflow, I went ahead and took a chance on this one. I wanted a fan that had really good airflow and looked good. It was super easy to install, only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I did changed the bulbs to daylight led bulbs and so I get great light output even though lamp shade is like a amber color. Once finished installing, I couldn't believe just how good it looked. And then turning it on, and the airflow is amazing as well. If you have doubts about the looks, all I can say is take a chance, you probably will love it. It looks so much better in a room than hanging in a store with all the soft yellow lights. In my room, it looks kind of like chocolate color, my room is only 12 x 12 and so I imagine it would look different in different sized rooms. If you hang it and don't like it, take it down and get another. Ceiling fans are so easy to install, and this one is a piece of cake to hang.

This fan looks great on our outdoor patio and installation was easy.

Would be 5 stars for more fan speeds, just three and the first one is useless. I love the 2 60 watt bulbs encased in the glass cover. You can dim it just where you want it for just enough light to see without feeling like your on display to passersby. It even has an exit setting which goes to 50% brightness and fades off within 30 seconds giving you time to leave without stumbling around. Moves sufficient air at full speed to be useful.

This is, hands down, the very best ceiling fan we have ever purchased. We wanted maximum air flow in our family room. This ceiling fan, with three adjustable speeds, really makes our room feel cool. The design is exceptional, extremely quiet even on the high setting. It is very attractive and high-quality construction. We wanted to have some lighting as well, and this ceiling fan came with two 60 watt bulbs. We would have liked a bit more light, but with our separate lamp that we have, it is plenty for our family room area. My husband is a very good "handyman," and installed this with ease, although a second person is necessary to hold certain parts as they are being installed. The pull-chain for the fan did have to be adjusted a bit, as it didn't pull smoothly the first few times, but after he "restrung" it through the hole the second time, it works well. The instructions are very easy to follow, although a couple of instructions could have been clarified just a little bit better. We are very pleased with this beautiful ceiling fan, and almost daily we still comment how much we like it and are happy that we chose this particular model from Home Depot. I think we will purchase a second ceiling fan just like this for one of our bedrooms. We absolutely love it.

I love this ceiling fan! It looks rich and elegant in our new screened in porch!

I brought this fan about 2 weeks ago and had it installed today . Since then the globe has cracked and the fan wobbles when on . Disappointed about the quality of the fan

Easy to assemble & hang. Had the old fan down and the new one up and running in less than an hour.The GRAND CAYMAN really does move the air and the motor is very quiet.
