We bought the Navigator due to it having many features that our kids wanted, most notably the monkey bars. This Playset had been in our yard no more than 3 weeks when we started to notice mold in the platform area and on top of the monkey bars. I immediately scrubbed these areas and sealed the Playset but I have noticed that it has continued to spread in other locations. This Playset is not in a shaded area but is in the middle of my yard and it has not rained very much recently as we’ve been in a drought. A couple of days ago my 90 lb son went down the slide and it completely folded in on itself. We could have paid less money and gotten something that still had all the features we wanted but we ended up going with Gorilla due to its reputation for quality playsets. To say we are disappointed with the quality of this Playset in an understatement.

We had it installed by a recommended installer from gorilla and it was very reasonable and they did a great job! Very sturdy and has lots of options for the grandkids! We are very pleased with this playset!!!

Paid extra money for Malibu Roof but the package did not have all the pieces as in the picture specially the front of the roof is incomplete. Extremely disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a COVID purchase. TBH, I probably wouldn’t have bought it had quarantine not happened. Boy, am I glad I did. It was a total game changer. My kids spend hours playing on this swing set- even in freezing cold winter weather. There are so many features that provide endless open-ended play opportunities. I’m so glad we got this. My kids are obsessed. It helps so much during this tough year when they are doing virtual school. It helps them be normal kids again. It’s made of quality, sturdy wood and is not flimsy like other playsets I have seen. I also stained it a month after getting it because I want it to last a long time.

We're very happy with the assembled product. The playset has not had much use but it's a big hit with our granddaughter so far. The large beams and increased height when compared to similar sets increase the sturdiness, weight limits and years of use. We chose the Malibu fort option because it provides additional space. However, it significantly increases assembly complexity. We also chose to have Gorilla's assembly contractor do the installation. I watched the installation which took about 7 hours for experienced assemblers. There's no labeling which is nice because there are no marks or labels on the finished playset, but it means that every bolt and every board needs to be measured before assembly. In watching, I could see that made assembly more difficult. Also a number of heavy hardware boxes and some loose parts were placed in the slide box which fell apart during shipping. Everything was found but having one or two additional sturdy hardware boxes would have reduced the chance of parts being lost or damaged.

I spent the first few evenings (day-1 plotting, day-2 assembling the tower, day-3 level). the most time was getting the tower square in the backyard then trenching about 3-inches on the high side for the tower to sit level. I spent about 4-hours total with these steps and all of the following Saturday (10 hours) assembling the remainder of the structure on my own. The instructions were clear and the materials were spot on. I highly recommend use of an impact drill for the lag bolts. There was only one non-strucutral board that was split but overall, I was very satisfied with the materials and overall quality and would recommend to any of my neighbors or friends. The biggest benefit is it entertains the kids for hours. They are on it every day and the swings are just great. They are longer than the ones at the park and it is hard to get them off of it.

I bought this in May it did take to the end of September to get it, due to backorder. We put it together yesterday. We ordered the Navigator with green shield, and wood fort. It looks great, and well made. Only problem missing one board that we were able to replace and the hardware for dormers. Still trying to replace those. Overall my children love it. Worth the wait.

While the handles themselves were a perfect replacement for the original ones, it made a significant difference that the screws changed. The new ones that came with the replacement handles were slimmer and longer than the originals (can't use them). Had I been perfect, and not lost 2 of the original screws, it would have been fine I suppose. But, I'm not, so the same screws would have made it a lot easier to replace these handles. I'm hoping this pair will last longer than the original pair, just about every other piece has.

Toddler loves the playground, however, squirrels and birds successfully bit and scratched off chunks of the wood finish and parts are splintering. Playground is 6 months old! Spoke to customer service who said “just aesthetics” every though previous customer service rep agreed to send me new parts. But different product!

I am extremely happy with the look and quality of this playset. I did a lot of research and I am glad I decided to pay a little more money for a better product. The only complaint I have is the wood is very soft and a few lag screws broke.
