Pretty lamp! Directions for the end aren’t clear. You have to bend the neck of it so that the lamp shade hangs down and not sticks out. The base of the lamp isn’t weighted enough. As you can see in the photo I had to put something on it so it doesn’t fall over!

The lamp was easy to assemble and a high quality product. It fit nice in the corner to give a cozy feel to the room.

The instructions were not great, but after a few tries I was able to figure out. It has an expensive look so definitely a good value.

Very easy to assemble. The satin steel looks great with the fabric shade. When I saw the picture on the website of the shade, I was surprised to see that it was adjustable too which makes it perfect for my dining table. Great buy, highly recommend it!

This is a very high quality arch floor lamp, yet easy to put together. It comes with a nice textured ivory shade. It looks like a much more expensive lamp than the cost. It's great for a room that doesn't have a center ceiling light. I highly recommend and am very happy with it in my office!

No instructions, but easy to figure out. Make sure you can position the lamp in a place where you reach the on/off floor pedal switch. Love the idea that it can take up to 150 watt bulb.

This lamp is exactly what I was hoping it’d be. I love the style; the height is great, producing a soothing quality of light that is bright and expansive for reading, etc. I expected the assembly to be more challenging than it was. It was quick and easy.

Love the product but if you put an LED light in the whole thing bends and falls over due to the weight of the bulb.

The lamp looks beautiful in my dinning room. The 150w bulb works well in the area. The height is perfect and the lamps does stick out far from the wall. As long as you have the space in the room for the lamp it is certainly an eye catcher!

Love it!!! The house I live in has tin ceilings and I surely didn’t want to poke holes in them, but over the dining table did need light. This fits the bill nicely.

Lamp is exactly as adverfised & provides affordable & badly needed light over a table. I do have one major complaint...in order to provide the curve the entire pole is too thin or weak and from certain viewpoints you see an extreme curve.

It is as expected so I was very pleased. It adds a cosy, stylish feeling to my living room and is tall enough for my purposes (I have a 9 ft high ceiling). The only thing is that it leans a bit. It is not vertical as the picture indicates.

Very pleased with purchase. Good value for this size lamp as compared to other sites. Well weighted and easy to assemble. Looks great in my living room and I have received many compliments. I really like the toe touch switch.

This lamp was very difficult to assemble. It arrived with 2 defective parts but it took us several attempts at assembling it in order to realize that it was not our assembly techniques but that the parts were defective. It may also be the design of the lamp. The arc is massive and it is split into several pieces that either connect with very, very small Allen screws or simply screw into each other. The base is incapable of holding the weight of the entire arc and lamp shade. We have ordered another one and are returning this defective one. We shall see if the second one assembles better.

Love it! Easy assembly, wonderful soft,light. Only downside..somewhat unbalanced. For us it works, but freestanding might be difficult

The lamp was easy to assemble, but is too thin and wobbles at the slightest touch. While it lasted, it was attractive and provided lots of light. However, it stopped working after 15 minutes of use and refused to power on again.

The lamp is exactly what we wanted....a bright enough light to shine over our couch. Now we can read when we want to and otherwise we swing the lamp out of the way. The length of the curve of the lamp rod made it perfect for hanging over the couch. It could not have worked better for our purposes. My husband bought an oversized (100 watt) bulb, opaque, so that the bulb light does not shine in eyes when sitting on the couch.

the lamp is great looking, totally modern and retro at the same time. gives off a nice amount of light, and the step on button to turn on is really easy and convenient. was a good price for this look and it's a sturdy piece.

Beautiful light, I have found exactly the same one at hight end stores but much more expensive. I really wanted this light but I did not wanted to pay an arm and a leg for it. Finally I found it at Home Depot website and I did not think twice. I purchased right away. It's very modern, it brights my living room and I am very happy with it! It was easy to put it together too. I recommend it!

beautiful, easy to assemble, good quality. Much larger than expected, wouldnt work in every space so be sure to measure the height for your own purposes. Base easily dented.

I hate lamps. I find them distracting, invasive, unstable, inadequate. I much prefer mounted lighting--it frees up floor and table space, is more secure from breakage and gives more overall or directed light. The Goliath, however, is unobtrusive and provides good overall lighting, if mounted lighting isn't an option
