This remote does not work alone. You also need a receiver board to plug into your A/C unit. After finding about this requirement I went to Home Depot to see if I could order the receiver. Home Depot does not sell the receiver and cannot order one. This means buying this remote from Home Depot is useless. I returned the remote, went on-line and found a company that sells the same remote but with the receiver include.

Awesome Product and Works as Stated
Super easy setup, simply point it towards the AC and turn it on. I have 4 of these units in my house and ordered 1 for every room. Controls are laid out for easy use and the LED screen is super easy to read.
