I bought this model to replace one I had, which was also a GE

This microwave looks and operates like it is from the 1990's -- but of course it was very expensive. Six months later our whole family is still trying to figure out how it works. This is our third or fourth GE Profile microwave. I thought they delivered the wrong one -- I called the store to check.

I love the look and function of the new microwave. The extra space in the interior dimensions of this new appliance is great. I am still adjusting to the selection dial.

I found on this microwave a power saver feature. Considering the cost of running a microwave I use this feature all the time. The microwave goes black after 2 or 3 minutes and comes on again when you open the door.

This is, by far, the BEST microwave I have ever had. It works superbly. I love it!

This microwave's performance is better than any we've had before, for all kinds of tasks. I do wish that the controls were a little more straight-forward, it requires multiple steps to program the time especially that would be much simpler with just a keypad.

We've never had anything but GE appliances in any kitchen so when our old GE microwave quit working we selected this product. However, we don't like the black color interior because you can't see what's going on inside. We also don't like the fact that we can't set the cook time to what shows on packages because you only allow 15-second increments vs.the old one where we could select any time period. The product quality is very good (as with all GE products) and we are happy with its performance so far.

Love this microwave. It replaced the house original appliance which was about 18 years old. It has just the features I need as a retiree who wishes to eat healthy...I've tried most of the different settings and found them to work perfectly.. I sometimes need to cook thick bacon a little longer to get to the crisp level I like, but otherwise it is wonderful...and the bacon issue is probably my quirk.

The GE Microwave is versatile with a multitude of cooking choices, and has plenty of cooking space. It's a welcome addition to our kitchen.

If you want to fix popcorn, it takes a lot of buttons and knob turns before you finally get there. What happened to just having a button on the front that said popcorn? The worst thing is you can't select a cooking time that isn't a multiple of 15. Did you want to heat up something for 20 seconds? Can't be done unless you select 30 seconds and stand there and wait for the countdown to reach 10. Horrible!

I do not like the turn knob; I prefer numbered buttons to program cooking time. I have to push a minimum of five times to get it running, more if I want to "edit." I do not like the rotating turntable; I prefer a back-and-forth movement . I like the dark interior.

I bought it for it's powerful exhaust fan and have not been disappointed. It took a little time to learn how to use all the features, especially using a knob instead of touch button to make reheating selections.

I liked the options offered on this microwave and it looks great in my kitchen, cooks excellent but is not user friendly and if you don't read the manual, it is confusing.

My old microwave was much easier to use. To many setting to just warm up a cup of soap. The size is perfect that's the best feature so that doesn't say much.

We sent the first one back for a defective turntable. We received the second microwave and it too was defective. We used the turntable from our broken microwave and the new one was OK. since then we have had problems with the "Humidity Sensor". Our third visit from the repair group is coming this week.

Compared to our 5-year old GE Profile microwave which was destroyed by a power surge, this unit which has a similar model number is of substantially less quality and is significantly more complex to use, Does the job I guess, but doesn't hve the same look or feel as the prior model.

Just installed a couple of weeks ago. Door a bit tight to open and close, but otherwise appears to be easy enough to learn, but need to refer to the Operating Instructions.

only complaint...the over cabinet template - wish it was on card stock instead of newspaper equivalent - difficult to set - and yep, drilled off a bit...fun to correct.

The microwave looks great and works OK -- but the menu system is very hard to use.

Still learning to work my microwave. It's smarter than me, but I'm getting smarter!

We replaced our 9 year old GE Profile Microwave with the new Profile Microwave oven. From a cooking standpoint the new microwave works fine, no complaints. From an ease of use standpoint, this is a step down. It's not as intuitive. I would see the elderly having a hard time with the controls.

Sorry we bought it! Controls are too confusing, lacks features of earlier model.

I have tried to get use to this microwave for 1 week and will give it to Goodwill. I didn't realize it didn't have a numeric touch pad. It takes too much time to use the dial to select type of food and time every time you want tp heat a cup of coffee or quickly heat a plate of food. I want to use a microwave for quick cooking tasks....no way with this one. I hate it!

Just installed it ( instructions were great) so far it is exceeding my expections. My old GE lasted well over 15 years. I hope this gets the same life out of it.
