Customer Reviews for GE 200 Amp 20 Space 40 Circuit Outdoor Combination Main Breaker/Ringless Meter Socket Load Center

I needed another 200 amp panel for my outside Christmas display.This center is very easy to wire and to remove the wiring once the season is over.

I decided to purchase this combination meter base and main disconnect as it is all in one single box, making installation easier. The meter base is internally wired down to the main disconnect breaker. There is also room for 4 or 8 circuit breakers there also. It can be wired from above or below. I brought power in from above and then used the feed through lugs and routed the wire back up out the right side to the top where it then goes into my building to the inside circuit breaker box. This unit has stainless steel latches (won't rust) and internally uses copper buses. I had to go look at the GE web site to find the internal diagram of the box (sorry I did not think to take photo's of that when I installed it). Used this on my hangar in Texas. The online order was shipped free and arrived in 3 days, and it comes with instructions to return it free of cost if needed.

Great quality panel. Just wish it came with feed thru lugs. THLK2200 is what you will need if you buy this expecting 200 amp feed thru lugs.

There are no feed thru lugs on this combination. Buyer beware

Worked great for what I needed, had to submeter a tenant area, moved the branch circuits to this panel, fed it from a 100 amp breaker, a cheap meter and know I am able to bill my new tenant.

The breaker box with meter holder was perfect. Too bad you don't carry the same in stores.

This meter can/load center replaced a similar GE unit that had fewer circuits. It performed as expected.

The product was used for a replacement of an existing GE Meter Socket from the 1960's and the case fit exactly where the original was with very little change. The installation went well.
