Overall, we were pleased with the product and timely shipping. They were easy to paint. The packaging is not very protective; fortunately, only one corner on just one out of the four we ordered had a small ding in it. We used that one for a second floor window. We like the look of these crossheads better than the ones with keystones. They have a simple elegance.

Great product! Received quickly and was easy to paint and install with some Loctite adhesive..

This product could have gotten a higher rating, but i was disappointed that the paint and/or finish started flaking before I had a chance to paint it , which was maybe only a week or so, after I installed it . It was easy to install and it looks great, but now we will see if it actually holds up.

No size was wrong. It should be 38 inches instead of 44.5 inch. I wish home depots employees were more knowledgeable about product dimensions. Top was 44.5 and bottom was 38 inches. Product was good but it was oversize.

It looks amazing above my door. I ordered a size that would fit tight so there was no cutting. If i had cut then i would had to use the keystone to cover the seam. We preferred the no-keystone look

It's partially my own fault for not doing MORE research, but I was under the impression that the material was white all the way through. So when I had to trim off a little on the end, the material, which is more like foam than I thought, is yellow-ish which I have to paint. Not painting was the driving force behind this purchase to begin with.

The picture on line misrepresented the actual profile of the crown moulding that I received. Im taking it back.

We used this cross head as the top of a king size headboard we built. It was perfect for the project!
