Quiet, cleans well.
this dishwasher was in the house when we bought it back in Nov. 2014. It has been a wonderful dish washer. My one complaint is that it is very hard to get the filter out of the machine and do a good cleaning down there. I use a disinfectant about every couple of months and put baking soda once a week at the wash cycle. The machine is clean inside but scummy down around the filter, water pump area.

The dishwasher is an efective low cost device. It's a bit loud, but thats to be expected from an economy appliance. My reason for not giving it a five star is that it didn't include the input elbow. And the instructions (that can be downloaded) didn't specifie which style, only said depending on the model without saying which model got which style. This one needs the garden hose stlye fitting, not the standard plumbing fitting. cost me a trip to the store, since you can't see the connection until it's completly unpacked.

Cleans real good w/o paying for the bells and whistles
Replaced a 15 y.o. Hotpoint after the pump gave up the ghost. The old had a few more features that i rarely used. This one is quiter and more energy efficient and i am pleased with it.

Good for the price.
This is your basic, no frill dishwasher. It does the job well although rather noisy because the included insulation is very thin. Installation was easy.

HotpointFront Control Dishwasher in Black
I had to hire an appliance repairman to install (remove the old and install the new). Much quieter than the GE dishwasher that this Hotpoint replaced. The brands are identical, but I am hoping to get more than almost 2 years out of the Hotpoint one!

Working Well - Gets the Dishes Washed
Cleans the dishes. A little smaller loads than the old one. Doesn't have the extra features of the old machine which were never used anyway. Easier to load silverware.
Don't forget to remove and save the adapter for the water supply line from the old dishwasher fill valve or buy a new one to use with the new dishwasher if you are installing this yourself.

Terrible waste of money
This dishwasher is a poor choice. Sometimes the dial doesn’t advance, sometimes it does. Sometimes the water drains, sometimes it doesn’t. Currently it is now filling with water and immediately draining while the cycle dial stays in one place. Not worth the money. Only worked “right” for about 9 months. Buy a different brand.

PAY LESS.. GET MORE
After our original dishwasher finally went to the appliance graveyard after 27 years, I did my reaserch for a similar model. I didn't need a ton of bells and whistles to just clean dishes. This model fit the bill. Pretty stright forward and priced right. I have had it working about a month now and I am pleasantly surprised it does what is expected and alot quieter than many reveiws had stated. Call it a Win!

Good dishwasher...
I've had this for a month, and so far, it works great. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done! The top rack is smaller than my old dishwasher, but I can deal with it.

Good basic dishwasher.
Had to wait over 4 months to have it installed due to Covid virus. Was so happy to finally have a dishwasher in my kitchen. It does a satisfactory job of washing dishes and pots & pans.

The house I bought 18 years ago had a Hotpoint...not sure of age at time but it lasted well for at least 18 years...so I bought another which I like just as much.

Hotpoint Dishwasher
After having the old hotpoint for twenty+ years with out a problem had to make mom get a new one just cause she could afford a new one.Easy to use with a great rack and great cleaning also.

Does not clean well. No upper rack sprayer to clean upper dishes. Because the lower sprayer is required to be left open on the bottom rack, it limits the ability to place larger dishes in it. It also has a short top rack. Taller tumblers don't fit. Pretty disappointed.

I bought the Hotpoint Dishwasher because it has control features that I wanted but could not get in similar products at the same price.
We had a Hotpoint that lasted at least 18 years. I would have liked the racks inside to have been made deeper like the previous one.
It is quieter than I expected. I like the fact that it has the ability too grind up food. I don't have to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It is sufficient for us, but probably would not be for large family.

So far happy with this model. I wanted to avoid the panels that fail so often. Cleans better than I expected. At first, when I used cheap tabs, there was some residue left like others noted. But when I used finish tabs it was fine, no residue. Also no residue when I cut my cheap tabs in half.

No space for dishes, one water spout
Look at the internal view of the dishwasher very carefully. You can't put dishes in the middle of either rack because the water shoots only from the bottom to hit the dishwasher ceiling to distribute the water. You also loose valuable space in the bottom rack to accommodate for that only water spout. There is little space between racks and ceiling. Large pots and pans will not fit. I can only fit half the amount of dishes as I've had with other models.

For people who do not want a complicated, computer-brained dishwasher, this is the one for you. It has easy to operate / understand controls, and I love the racks, especially the roomy, removable silverware rack. It does a great job getting the dishes clean, and it was a great, affordable price. What more could you ask for?
