We selected the FFFH17F4QW because of size, price, and that there was a standalone refrigerator that matched it. Wow! This freezer is perfect and has plenty of interior space for our needs. We purchased it prior to the COVID-19 outbreak and it's been a real blessing to have so much extra freezer space at hand so we don't have to venture out in public. Food stays properly frozen without any freezer burn/ice crystals. The door seal is super strong. Really happy with my purchase.

We struggled with 3 fridge/freezer combos and never had enough room for our multigenerational family. Now we have plenty of room and I can see what we have. I feel secure knowing I have food to feed our family

This freezer replaced a 50 year old unit which was still functioning but seemed to be cycling more often than it had over the years so we thought it time to replace. The new freezer cycles as much as the old one and is as noisy. Being in a first floor laundry/utility room it is disruptive. We have not had it long enough to see the effect on our energy bill to determine if the energy star rating has helped. The interior is well fitted with shelves and baskets which makes storage an easy task. The interior lighting is excellent. The door seal is tight almost to tight. With the freeze full but not crammed full you have to hold the body when opening the door or the freezer will tilt forward.

We've had this freezer for about a year. There is a persistent problem with frost forming on the top of the door on the inside. ABT service stated that this happens all the time and not to worry about it; there is no fix! This is the 3rd freezer we've had in 40+ years and the first one with this issue. I wouldn't have chosen this one if I had known of the problem. Otherwise, I like it.........

It has been both a blessing and a curse, especially after putting in a quarter beef earlier in the year. Trying to find the right package, moving food around started to get on my nerves! When I knew we were going to get another quarter beef, it was time to shop around for a frost-free freezer. This one fit the bill perfectly! It’s just the right size for our needs with room to spare. The door is very hard to open, the seal holding it extremely tight, but thats ok. It’s doing its job of keeping everything frozen. We are extremely happy with this purchase; and no more bending over retrieving stuff at the bottom of a chest freezer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace a different brand that had died on me while i was on vacation (needless to say i was devastated!) anyway it works great, freezes well, seals tight when you’re done grabbing what you need. And it even comes with a key to help secure it and make sure it’s tightly closed! It’s very spacious and fits all my freezer needs with room to spare. Hunting season is around the corner so it’ll be nice to have room for whatever my husband brings home.

Love the freezer so far. Only issue is that it came with one small dimple in the side that had to be there when boxed since the cardboard packaging was totally fine. Sad to think it was boxed that way.

This was a great buy. Roomy, stays at 0 with no issues. Runs very little. I was a little worried seeing some of the negative reviews but most were many years ago and they must have improved it. Runs great so happy we replaced our 35 year old freezer. Love the light, the baskets and the frost free. **I have to give a thumbs up to the delivery guys. They took their time, respected my home and moved a large appliance into a little area with no damage. Great job!

have had it a little over a year and it seems the compressor went out in it. very disappointing and will never buy this brand again

I went to purchase one but haven't been able to get one.. She purchased hers 3 yrs ago. I am disappointed that I am unable to get one, & hoping it would be available at some time soon so I can purchase it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer new April 2016. It's broken down four times in the last three years. Each time losing most of the food ($$$) in it. This freezer is only the third Frigidaire product product we've owned(2 of 3 have been junk). Don't really know what brand to turn to, but I wouldn't recommend Frigidaire.

It's a good thing Frigidare discountined this model as it has proven to be a piece of junk. Have had it less than three years and have had unscheduled defrosting many times. Will not buy another Frigidare product of any type.

From having a lock (keep mine in the garage) and hv aged prime meat and seafood, this keeps the honest people out. The temperature is maintained excellent and you don’t hear the compressor kicking on very often so great temperature retention. Likewise uses less electricity so a WIN WIN all around

Bought 11 months ago, developed a Freon leak. Cannot find a local repairman. It has been 29 days! I have been able to talk to someone at Frigidaire only once, all other communication has been live chat. I would like for everyone at Frigidaire to unplug their refrigerator until mine is repaired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in January, by May it was already needing repair. And not just any repair - a complete replacement of the entire compressor and refrigeration system. The whole sealed system failed. At five months old. Crazy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this refrigerator for 3 years now and it's worked great with no issues. It's my 2nd refrigerator that I keep in the garage for extra and larger items not need in the kitchen refrigerator. It cools good and has been very reliable.
