Affordable and Gets the Job Done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this when we purchased our house and finally were able to install it about a month ago. Runs very quietly, and gets the dishes very clean (as it should). My only complaint is that the stainless steel front smudges easily.

    A great bargain for a basic needs first install.
    This is an ideal machine for a fresh installation in an older home that never had a dishwasher in the first place. Also just a great value for a cost effective replacement just to plug in for an old dishwasher. The wash and rinse cycles leave the dishes beautiful and dry. The dry cycle will naturally leave some of your plastics up top a bit wet yet nice and clean, so you'll need to set them out to dry. The flatware and pans on the bottom are clean as a whistle.

    basic, but good dishwasher
    I used this dishwasher for 2 weeks now, but it's my third Frigidaire dishwasher of the same kind. I use it about 1-2 times a day, mostly on Standard settings, with full loads of silverware, glasses, pans, and dishes. I am in general pleased with the way it works - it cleans well, it's reasonably quiet, it's roomy, easy to load and unload. It was also easy to install - I did it myself with a screwdriver and a wrench, no additional parts required. The only thing is: I re-used the water connection pipe from the old machine of almost identical model. My previous 2 identical dishwashers lasted a combined 17 years, so you can count on 8-9 years of reliable use, and trust me, after 8-9 years you feel like replacing the appliance no matter what. Another good thing is you can easily clean the drain. I don't like it's not so easy to open and close - the grip on the handle is difficult. Also, the settings are not easily visible from a standing position - you must bend and get closer to see what's going on. This particular model doesn't have a timer to show you how much time is left in the cycle, but the Gallery line doesn't have any of these shortcomings. Given the low price, the fast and free delivery, the easy installation I consider it overall a very good value.

    Fair value
    I've only had this dishwasher for a few weeks, so I'm not sure how it will be in the long hall, but so far I like it. It's quieter than I remember my last one to be (we haven't been using ours for over 6 months, so I'm not quite sure). And it seems to clean the dishes pretty well, although I've had problems with some of the metal pans and stuck on food. I'm going to have to check the manual to see if there's anything I can do for that. This model doesn't have all the features that my old one had, but for the price I think it's a good dishwasher.

    Lights fishing and not working
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought for my grandmother less than 18 months ago and she's only used it 4 times. Out will turn itself on and then off and there are lights flashing on it that will not go off. We are having to keep the breaker off so it will not run all the time.

      So far so good
      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought ours in early 2016 and so far it's still going strong, hope it'll give us more good years. The only 2 issues I have noticed are more cosmetic than anything. One, that residue tends to accumulate along door edge (I just wipe off) and the dishwasher rack is starting to rust in a few spots, so it may need to be replaced before the dishwasher itself. The dishwasher runs great at this time and I am pleased with its sanitize feature.

        Brand new in the house I bought
        I purchased my home in Feb 2016 & the dishwasher was new still wrapped in it's blue shipping plastic. About 6 months ago after it was ran the lights froze on the display. Last night I shut it to run a load & there are no display lights and it seems the board just stopped working. It isn't the latch as it still pops in when I shut it. Any ideas or fixes?

          Didn't perform 100% from the start
          Door never closed which caused leaking and now the electrical is done. Maybe got 50 washes out of it..so about $6/ wash..

It works well but sometimes the dishes come out dirty and they have to be hand washed. My current problem is with the soap dispenser door, it came off. I cannot figure out how to put it back on with the spring, has anyone else had this problem?

              Dirty dishes, YUCK
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new appliance set when we move down into our new home 6 years ago. The dishwasher has always worked fine except every now and then there is a powdering or gritty residue on dishes. Usually a rewash solved the issue. I've been noticing for the last few days, more residue and food particles left on dishes. I cleaned the trap and our water is super hot. I make sure the rinse aid is always full. I even bought a more expensive brand to see if that was the problem. For Easter dinner I had to handwash a ton of dishes because after running it 3 cycles, it only got worse. I tried a rinse only cycle and it still didn't work. Do you have any suggestions, because we cannot afford to buy another one at this time?

              Hi, Axjxmom! If you are finding a white film or powdery residue on your dishes after a cycle, it may be an issue with your water supply. If you have hard water or water high in calcium deposits, you may find limescale buildup like this. A rinse with white vinegar should easily erase this film; a cup can also be added to the bottom of the dishwasher during a wash!                     Never buy this dishwasher, it will not last you very long. This dishwasher only lasted us 3 years with a couple of problems along the way. Our next door has the same dishwasher and had problems as well with it. So they replaced their dishwasher within 3 years. I never liked it from day one. It's really loud when it's running and doesn't dry the dishes completely. The dishwasher started leaking while it was running, and the front door wouldn't latch as well.

                      Dishwasher stopped drying
                      I bought my dishwasher 3.5 years ago and now the dry function won't work and the dishwasher shuts off after it's finished washing. The dishes have a film on them and I have to run the rinse cycle with no dry to get the film off.

                        It cleans dishes
                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this unit in a house I am renting. It was brand new when I moved in. It is noticeably loud when it is running. It scares the dog, and the tv needs to be turned up a few notches type loud. The bracket that the door latches onto comes out of alignment every few months and the dishwasher will not close - so it will not run. Has to be realigned and takes particular star shaped screwdriver to remove and replace it. It doesn’t always rinse all of the detergent off of the top of cups on the upper rack. It does wash dishes and has never completely quit in the first year.

                          Horrible - do not buy or buy again
                          Purchased this dishwasher when building a bar in our basement in mid-2016. Literally used it less than 20 times to wash glasses after parties, and the motor died about 6 months ago (Oct 2018). An absolute piece of junk.

                            Worthless product!
                            This dishwasher is total garbage. Originally I bought it as part of an appliance package, and the motor went out two years later. And, of course, the warranty had expired. We replaced it with the same model so the appliances would match, and now the replacement dishwasher has broken after only 3 years. This time absolutely nothing is working, no lights, no motor, nothing. Fortunately, the second time I purchased a 5 year warranty, I am waiting to hear if it will cover the costs to repair/replace. If not, I will certainly be contacting you again for assistance.

                              Not the greatest results
                              This dishwasher was new 3 years ago, and was bought by the previous home owners. In our previous home, we had bought a different brand, and were perhaps spoiled by never having to pre-rinse, however, with this dishwasher, unless we pre-rinse each dish, we are invariably left with debris on our glasses. Each week, we need to soak and hand scrub our glasses. I regularly clean the debris catch at the bottom and check the spinning arm holes for food particles, and there is not much. We keep our jet dry chamber full but it does not make a difference. With such a busy home, it would be nice to not have to wash our glasses twice. I am also disappointed by the length of each cycle. They seem to go on forever. I miss my 30 minute quick wash cycle.

                                HORRIBLE dishwasher
                                I hate writing bad reviews, but this is honestly the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. We built our dream home about 5 years ago, and had problems right from the start. We reached out to our builder who told us there were "no issues", even though every few days it would randomly leak during a cycle. Fast forward some time, and we figured out that it mainly leaked during the Pot Scrubber cycle, so we stopped using that. We then determined that if anything were remotely in the way of the spinning arm, it would leak, so EVERY time we run the dishwasher I check that all of the arms can spin freely, and most of the time that worked. With 3 teenagers in the house, that is easier said than done. Now the seal has completely broken and it leaks every cycle. We ordered a new seal and replaced the one that fell out, and it still leaks. My wood floors are ruined from the several years of random leaks. I'm going to have to have our entire first floor redone because the floor companies have said they cannot simply fix the wood that has been affected near the dishwasher. On top of that, several of the button options haven't worked for quite some time, either. I gave up on changing options within cycles due to those buttons not functioning. I have an entire kitchen of Frigidaire Professional appliances, and I will NEVER own another.

                                      The bane of my existence...
                                      This dishwasher came with our house and was a brand new unit. We've now been using it for about a year. The stupid thing won't latch properly all the time and the door frequently pops open in the middle of the washing cycle. Just tonight I've had to shut it again 10+ times to keep it from spraying water all over the floor. We have also had problems with the soap dispenser not opening in the past, but that hasn't happened for a while. When it works, it's just fine. But when it doesn't... heaven help us. At least it does generally do a decent job of actually getting dishes clean, which I suppose is the point of a dishwasher. It would just be nice if the door actually stayed closed and latched every time.

                                        The dishwashing liquid dispenser doesn’t always open. Nothing is blocking it, just doesn’t open. Now when the dishwasher is not even running the bottom fills with water and floods my kitchen.

                                        Oh, my! Ann50. This is not the experience we would like you to have from our dishwasher. Typically, if your dishwasher’s soap dispenser is not opening; the water pressure may not be coming into the dishwasher at the recommended pressure or temperature. I recommend checking your water temperature and pressure; the suggested temperature should be 120°F and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi). Also, if you are experiencing water at the bottom of your tub please check to see if the drain hose is kinked. I do hope this information is helpful. This one was brand new when I purchased my house 3 years ago. It did the job decently, and then just quit draining. For the price, I feel like it should work for more than 3 years. I'm guessing replacing the drain pump will fix the problem, but I shouldn't have to do that yet!

Two days ago it did not drain and now it will not even engage. Cleaned interior out no kinks power is to unit lights go on but nothing else. I would replace the motor but it could be the motherboard. Not worth pulling it out to explore... I do not recommend frigidaire I also have their refrigerator and it has been make loud noises since day one.

                                                    Not Happy
                                                    Had this dishwasher for a little over a year. Worked decent for most of that time but I recently noticed the hardwood flooring in front of the machine started getting slightly dark. I removed the machine from out from under the counter and found that the circulation pump had started leaking.. It must have started leaking a while ago but I never noticed untill it damaged my floor. Unit is now just a couple months out of warranty and a replacement circulation pump is almost half the price I paid for the machine new. Now I have to buy a new machine...again... and repair my wood flooring..
