the ruler on the package tells you the distance of the holes that should be drilled, i followed the instruction and drilled the pilot holes and put in the anchors, and the instruction didn't show me whether the plate should be vertical or horizontal, but i figured it out anyway. However, it doesn't tell you which hole of each plate those pilot holes accord to, so I assumed its the center hole(simple logic, but i was wrong), the distance of those pilot holes is from the 3rd hole of the left plate to the 1st hole of the right plate, so i ended up having to drill another hole, and expose one ugly anchor outside of the plate

Easy to install and of good quality.

Had to put on in cause house is going on the market and the other one fell off, easy to install and looks very nice.

I like the sleek clean modern look, as I've used this before. However, with this particular item I had trouble tightening the set screw on the right side. It would not completely lock down the right holder. As a result, the towel bar is a little shakey.

Futura towel bar is a good product. It is easily installed. The package contains screws and drywall plastic anchors. Installation instruction is easily followed in step by step details. You will need a 3.0mm precision screw driver for lockdown

I just installed the towel bar. It looks nice and adequately sturdy. However, I found the instructions hard to follow because they're wrong. The pilot hole for the anchors should be 1/4 inch, not 3/16 inch. With 3/16 or even 7/32, the anchors won't go in and get bent. With a 1/4 inch hole, the anchors go right in with a gentle tap. Since the instructions end with "Insert roller," I suspect that they're actually for another product (a toilet paper roll holder). See image.

Light weight.

Easy to install towel bar. All items are in the box that you would need. The quality of the bar itself seems good and appears to be durable enough to last many years. Seems to be as good as the more expensive Moen or Delta branded towel bars. My one comment I will make as a suggestion to the manufacturer - the back of the box includes instructions for installation. It states to drill a 3/16'' hole to insert the rubber screws. I had to go up a size or two on my drill bit kit in order for the rubber to fit in the hole, before screwing in the metal screw and plate. I also used my stud finder to locate the studs in the wall and put one end of the bar in the stud and one end in drywall. I still used the rubber screws included for both sides of the bar. I'd recommend this item, especially for the cost.

Perfect for bathroom. Easy to install. In place for 1 week now and completely meets our expectations. Very acceptable color for the color scheme already present.

I'm pleased with the size, quality and price. Installation is easy as well - all required hardware is included. The chrome finish is smooth, shiny, good color. There is no seam in the bar. It is a bit light weight. But I only plan to hang towels. And I paid less than $15 a piece. I'm glad that now I can open up my bath towels for efficient drying. These towel bars exceed my expectation.

This towel bar is simple and perfect. We recently renovated our hideously outdated bathroom. Replacing everything cost about $4500, money well spent. I purchased new, stylish, matching chrome toilet paper holder and towel bar. But the hand towels kept sliding off the new towel bar and I realized it was because the bar was really a round rod (or cylinder). My old towel bar was like this one, an actual bar with right angles that hold the towels more securely in place. A small detail, but one that mattered to me. I immediately went out and bought this Franklin Futura one in chrome (the outdated one was fake brass). It secured easily into place. Its simple design works far better than the fancier looking one I first bought yet still blends seamlessly with the other updated fixtures. For nine bucks, it was a terrific bargain! Apparently our outdated bathroom had a few things going for it all along!

I used this with shower hooks for a hat rack in my bedroom. Simple installation and looks clean. Very pleased.

The Futura 18 inch towel bar in polished chrome was very easy to install and adds elegance to my bathroom décor.

We use this towel rod for decorative purposes over the toilet. It's a shorter towel rod so it is perfect for decorative use. The only instructions available was on the box. My husband installed this and did fairly well but I think that some will have difficulties installing this since there is little instructions provided.

Didn’t use it yet but it was perfect. I will be replacing a similar towel bar.

I like the low price, and the quality seems just as good as the more expensive ones.

Easy to install but tightening screw not catching.

This was delivered to the wrong house and it was hidden and I couldn’t find it. I’ve been looking for it since yesterday afternoon. I found it just now halfway through the next day. And one of the items wasn’t delivered.
