This is a replacement camera for another Foscam model that was 3 years old, and had quit working. Although the camera is a lot more expensive than that previous model, it is definitely worth the extra money. The color and clarity of this HD camera is far superior to the older model. Foscam helped me set it up, and the Foscam customer service is very knowledgeable. You do have to wait quite a while to speak with their representative, but it is worth the wait. We would definitely purchase this model again.

First the Day time video is very good. It is different on different devices. That is not the fault of the camera. My tablet gets the best Video. Night Time is only limited by the LEDs. But a reasonable video. Basic SetUp was fairly easy, but a complete (tech computer} newbie will still have difficulty. Advanced SetUp is horrendous. I used to be A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. The email setup would not work. I called tech-support. He tried for 30 minutes to get it working with my Yahoo email. Then he says............Ohh! This Software will not work with Yahoo email! Really? So why did you try for 30 mins???? We got it to work on my Gmail account. Saved the settings. Next day! wont work. The software is not reliable! I am going to try this with other software. Bottom Line: Good Hardware. Bad SoftWare!

If you have a smart phone these cameras are easy to add to your home internet system. The telephone support system is very helpful. The tech people take over your computer and do it all for you. I have 3 outdoor cameras and 2 interior. One evening my dog was barking at something I could not see in the yard. I checked my phone and could see a family of raccoons passing by. Night vision is amazing. So easy to check on your home when you are traveling. The quality of the cameras far exceeds the price.

This 1.3 megapixel camera is sleek in shape but difficult to install on my PC with Windows 8. I read the e-copy of the enclosed manuals, triple read the instructions and still did not fully understand how to configure the camera's software. The purchase of the camera came with a free install by their Tech Specialist, Edward. It took about an hour on the phone but Edward finally got it to play in WiFi mode, record videos and store the records. I could not reproduce the software configuration on another Laptop but with Window 7. I was able to add the App onto my IPhone but not on my old IPad. Guess different ops systems and OS version prohibits me to add the same App onto different platforms. Is it worth it...the answer is yes

very good quality resolution on the cameras, very interesting to be able to look in on your valuables when ever you feel necessary.

Thought the camare was wireless.. No wires to router or computer.......
