I put the Nozzle Sleeve on my flux core welding gun tip and after one single welding pass the nozzle started melting. By the third pass the nozzle was on fire when I stopped the weld. Worthless junk. I tossed it in the trash and dipped my bare copper tip in my Nozzle Gel and have had no problems welding without a sleeve or Gas Shield. Do yourself a favor and just get a container of Nozzle Gel.

Setting up my son-in-law's new Lincoln welder and this plastic nozzle did what plastic will do when exposed to heat. If you're trying to protect the gas ports in the gun you'd be better off finding a conical MIG nozzle and trimming it short enough to see the weld puddle. Two problems solved.

Mine fell off and was lost. Got the replacement send right to my house. Perfect.

this nozzle fits my cheap harbor freight 120 amp flux core welder at a fair price.

I bought this nozzle to give me better view while welding. 10 minutes into welding on project i started smelling burning plastic. The nozzle was completely melted to the tip of my mig gun. Tip and nozzle totally fused together.

Great price considering TSC wants 10 for a Hobart one. Gets rid of that big gas nozzle that most people don’t use because they don’t use gas or in my case with the HF 125, doesn’t even have the capability to use gas. First step to better welds!

I've been using flux core welding since 2000, immediately took the gas nozzle off the gun for better visibility, but would short out on occasion hitting the exposed tip(brass portion) of the welding gun in tight areas. Recently purchased this nozzle cover after 15yrs of stubborness, im kicking myself for not buying this sooner. Works great, fits TWECO based/styled mig guns with threads including HF mig guns, this will not fit Hobart or Miller slip on type... i checked just to make sure. Yes, its made of plastic(electrical insulator) and yes it will eventually degrade from welding.. but not anytime soon, "maybe" after 6-10lbs of weld wire usage and depending on position. The price cant be beat here at HD for this, you can buy 2 or 3 for the price of 1 everywhere else. That is an excellent value. If you use FC wire, you wont regret this purchase.

I purchased this for my off brand welder not knowing if it would work, since mine did not come with one for flux core welding, however I am very pleased that Home Depot had it at a great price.

Needed extra nozzles,was convenient to pick up because I go into Home Depot a lot,plus I avoided the wait assioated with online ordering where its shipped from a warehouse
