I recently purchased this system. I have not yet installed it but after opening I notice that both temp gauges were missing. I have been trying to contact the manufacturer for over a week and it seems that no one answers the phone or emails. I was thinking about building the system myself, but decided to spend more to make things easier, this mishap has made it more complicated. Hope you get what you need because if you don't the customer service dept at Floor Heat won't be there to help you or make things right.

Phil, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. The manufacturer that we get the pressure gauges from was temporarily out of stock. We opted to send the distribution panel without the gauges along with a note indicating the situation and that the gauges would be available within 3 to 5 days and they would be shipped separately. The gauges did ship past Friday. We do our best to answer calls quickly so your message is of concern. We also cannot find a P.O. with your name(Phil) associated with it and have no emails or phone messages. Could you please give me a call 269-364-7510 and let me know that you did receive the pressure gauges.

I got my system up and running in a few days with only a couple of gotchas. The first was finding out the expansion tank isn't designed for use with antifreeze. This should be stated in the sales information not just the install manual. I needed to order a separate expansion tank from supplyhouse since Floorheat wouldn't do an exchange or give me credit for the one that came with the panel. The second issue was the tiny schematic showing the purge configuration for the valves. The schematic is not only tiny but doesn't show any practical information. I got the purge cycle completed by trial and error. My system has an Aube thermostat and Electro Industries 4.5kw mini boiler. The mini boiler has a built in switch for the circulator pump that I didn't use/need since the panel has a Taco controller for that. My system is operational and heating my shop as expected.

I wanted to correct my previous review. I did hear back from the people at FloorHeat and they did spend the time to answer my questions and sent quickly the items I needed. I now have the system nearly installed (took roughly 4-5hrs worth of work - which did save me time) and am ready to turn on. This package did make my radiant floor project much easier.
