Poor Paint Quality - Razor Sharp Edges - Bad Internal Bracket Fit
Ugh. We bought these to replace some old "Embassy" covers, circa 1978. The old Embassy covers are built out of thicker materials and are much better quality than these Slant/Fin covers. Sadly, contractors ruined our Embassy covers and we had to replace them.
Bad Internal Bracket Fit
The internal bracket that slide side to side popped loose from the wall mounted enclosure at the bottom and wouldn't stay locked in place. I had to drill a hole through the internal bracket at it's lowest point and use a Simpson structural screw to attached the internal bracket to the wood lower sill plate that's inside the wall.
Razor Sharp Edges - Poor Paint Quality
The endcaps and basically all edges are razor sharp. Why do I care? Because when you slide the endcaps over the enclosure they scrape off the thin paint.

Sorry for you inconvenience. Oil tanks have never come with legs as different states have different rules on what they accept for legs and the height of the legs.

New baseboard cover is a nice clean look
We had rusty old, baseboard covers that needed to be replaced. Contractor said it is an easy DIY project. Sure was! It is a nice, clean update.

Not for homeowner diy
Seems like it was designed in 1950. Definately too hard to install if heat element already in place. Not for homeowner diy. Better alternatives which are much easier. BUILT WELL THOUGH.
