The product is missing a piece that is to use to screw two screws and is used to fixed the doorknobs on the door. I bought two of them and I missed a piece in both. And the gold part is not well polished, it seems to be used.

I have received a lot of compliments on these new knobs. Be advised- Some drilling through the door involved with Dummy knob install.

These door knobs are really beautiful and feel nice and heavy in your hand. We installed about 20 of them (privacy, passage, dummy) in our house to replace old, ugly builder-grade brassy doorknobs. I am glad we did and have received compliments on them. But these are really not a DIY project, unless you are a locksmith (!) My husband is pretty handy and he replaced all of the interior knobs at our previous home, so he knows how to "switch out" doorknobs. But these ones contain about 20 parts apiece and are a major pain to install. One knob on a 1/2 bath took him 1/2 a Saturday, and even then it did not function correctly. It kept getting stuck and 3 times guests got locked into the bathroom (!). Finally I had a locksmith at the house fixing an exterior door set, and he said he could fix it. One small part had been installed backwards. I ended up hiring him to install the rest of the knobs and it took about 12 hours (even with an apprentice who came to remove all of the old knobs). To me, they are totally worth the effort and expense, but the difficult installation should definitely be factored into a decision to buy these.

The Baldwin Crystal Door Knob is a beautiful piece and the craftsmanship is excellent. It is very solidly constructed and the installation is firm and secure. I can see why Baldwin has a lifetime guarantee, it will outlast me. If you want a crystal knob, this is the one.

Great door knob... looks good and is well-built.

Seem to be made to last. Very pretty. One of the 4 knobs does dont line up correctly but its not noticeable unless you point it out.

This are great, very heavy. Everyone loves them. We have an old historic house and these are the perfect blend of old and new. Would love to eventually put these on every door in the house but they certainly aren't cheap. Worth the extra though, even if you have to replace them one at a time

Two reasons I am rating this a 4 star is because when it arrived and I unpacked, at first, couldn't find the bracket. It was hidden under a piece of cardboard. I was ready to return but after poking and pulling, found the bracket. Secondly, it is a bit pricy for one knob. Other than that, the knob was very easy to install. Looks very classy on the door. It serves its purpose as a dummy knob.

This is a quality piece of hardware not one of those cheap crystal knobs. The mounting hardware, bezel, and knob are hefty. This is a single closet door pull. I imagine the lock set if built the same would really brighten up a regular door and last a lifetime.

First class quality doorknob looks great, very solid feel, hidden screw mounting system, nice glass, beautiful polished brass fitting.
