This door is absolutely beautiful. I had to have it special ordered but it was well worth the wait. I upgraded the door to include the optional amber colored glass details which truly added to the beauty and detail of the design. If you want to upgrade the look of your home look no further. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

We built our home about four years ago. In an effort to keep the price down, we selected the basic builder's grade door which is on about 90% of the homes in the neighborhood (painted 6 panel steel door). It looked ok but had no curb appeal whatsoever. I saved for a number of months and decided to go with Feather River when they had a 20% off sale. The door I selected is similar to this one but it has the Monroe glass with zinc caming. I also selected it where some of the glass is amber colored. I also chose to have the jamb hand stained and made from the same material as the door. It cost a little more but was well worth it. I've done many DIY projects around my home but hired an installer for this job. It took him roughly seven hours to remove the old door and install this one. That includes caulking, replacing the trim, installing the lock and handle set, and some minor repainting. This door has made a drastic improvement in the appearance of both the inside and outside of our home. On top of that, its far more energy efficient than our old door. This door faces the west and even on a 100 degree day, it's still cool to the touch on the inside (that includes the glass). This door is heavy and very solid. It swings smoothly and closes to a good seal. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Expected more for the price. But seems everything is cheaply made and overpriced. Screw covers on window trim aren't flush and a few already fell out. Just installed the other day. Frame is decent quality and seems to have a good seal.

Door was packed on a crate, no damage. It was easy to install; if you have installed a door before. Color and appearance were exactly like the photo. Door has only been in for a few weeks. But seems to be a quality door.

This door was installed and you could see light through the bottom corner of the door. The feather river representative was very responsive and came to my home to review the door After a thorough review of the door he said the cause was due the door being warped. I was thrilled with response and Home Depots assistance with concerns. Now 3 months later, rugs under new door to keep cold out, feather river states it was installation AND warped door and they don't pay for installation. I am not sure when the poor installation was added to the cause of problem. I was not provided that information. Be aware as it says in the warrantee if you receive a new product you paid $2400 for and it is broken you have to pay to have a replacement product picked up and reinstalled.

Since the door is fiberglass, it is heat and cool resistant, it is just like a wood door in looks, so is beautiful to look at, it makes a house look like a home and welcomes visitors. I was proud to own it.
