This door is gorgeous, but does not last very long at all. We have full sun and the finish started bubbling and peeling off the second year we had it. Also the glue around the glass is oozing and the trim is no longer sitting flat. It looks horrible. For all the money we paid for it we expected it to last many years. The cheap-o ugly door we had previously lasted 20+ years. Go figure! I called customer service and she said that I'm going to have to sand it down and restain it myself. It's not covered under warranty!

Very happy with the purchase and been getting a lot of complements from neighbors.

Purchased this door March 2012. Had it installed by Home Depot and couldn't be more pleased. It looks beautiful and after a full winter in the north east it is the best insulated door we ever owned. I would highly recommend this door.

I ordered a custom door manufactured by Feather River (FR). The delivery time was a week later than promised. I had a carpenter install the door which after installation was nearly completed, we discovered the door frame was too wide for the door. As a result, the door will not stay shut. FR had the door inspected the day after I called and filed a claim, mainly due to the security issue of the door not closing properly. The door was reordered by FR but the first production had an assembly problem. FR reordered production again which should be delivered in about a week. FR will pay for the reinstall. The door itself was beautiful. I hope the third time is the charm in getting the measurements correct.

put in this door last year and now the center glass leaks so bad it blows out a lighter that is on the inside of the glass

This door is beautiful and makes an impressive entry door. We had H.D. arrange to have it installed with a new storm door. The H.D. employee made the purchase easy; assisting us with door hardware etc. H.D. let us know when the ordered door arrived and had the installer contact us for appt. All went smooth; and we are very pleased.

I purchased this door about three years ago because it was beautiful door and it would enhance the entrace of my home. It did all that but the quality of the door frame showed that there was a quality problem at the factory. One side was longer than the other so I could never square it in the opening. I took it back for a replacement and the home center agreed that the unit was defective and gave me another identical door. Even though I felt that I wasted alot of my time with the first install, I somewhat felt satisfied. Satisfaction was short lived, because after I finished the installation of the second door, I opened it and three of the staples that fasten the framing around the door were exposed. Contact with Feather River was useless, no response even when the home center tried to contact the rep and Feather River. We both complained and sent digital pictures with no response.

The door has made my house stand out from the others on the street.

This door looks great. It made my house look completely different on the outside. The glass is very clear and has to have film placed over it but the door door still looks great.

I really wanted a wood door with colored glass until I saw the prices. My brother recommended fiberglass. I saw this one at the store and bought it . It has great curb appeal and the thermal value is great. It looks like wood and it has a pretty glass insert. Our neighbors also like it.
