I opened the box and of course my base was broken. Home Depot stated they looked in the box when it was delivered to make sure nothing was broken-but they did not open the foam wrap to check all the delicate pieces. There is A LOT of glass and fragile pieces. The good thing is that id does come with gloves so your finger prints/smudges are not left on there. It is very time consuming especially when hanging up each crystal piece by piece. You definitely need to do it when you have plenty of time and are not in a hurry. The end result is beautiful but you have to be patient. I have mine in my foyer area and I get a lot of compliments on it. I also purchased the Empire chandelier but have not put it up yet-I need to get a longer ladder.

Bought three of this ceiling light; two in gold and one in silver and they are absolutely beautiful. Two for hallway and one for white bedroom. The quality and craftsmanship is very well made. This light also emits rays on your ceiling and that gives it such an awesome look. The most time consuming project in installing the light; is to hang the little crystal droplets. It was well worth the time to have these lights. I really don't have any cons against this chandelier light or believe me, I would tell you.
