The stools looked great but they are not 26". After putting one together it was 25" and when you sat on it, it was 23.5". Great looking and comfy but not 26".

This is a great product! The stool is extremely sturdy, durable, and comfortable. We loved the fact that it delivered assembled and the base did not contain screws, as it made the base much stronger. Many stools we looked at required screws to assemble the base, which made them unstable. This was the most sturdy bar stool we looked at. We loved the larger seat as it makes the stool extremely comfortable for large or small individuals. We needed a bar stool without a back as we did not want it hitting our island, which sometimes makes bar stools uncomfortable. The larger seat makes this comfortable without the back. The only reason we did not end up keeping the bar stool was the color of the wood did not match our existing wood as expected. I wish this stool came in various woods, as we would have ordered another color it was that comfortable. The only aspect of the chair we were unsure about was the foam in the cushion. We were unsure how that would withstand after some wear and tear in terms of the leather looking stretched as the foam starts to condense. Since we did not keep the chair due to color I can't report one way or another, but that was our only chair. But still....for the price I think this is a great chair.
