Love the look of this item, but within six months it's starting to rust and scratch. The finish is quite rough, and the scratches stand out because of it. Definitely not worth $200,.

Nice looking sink. Had it professionally installed but there were no problems. Also bought the bottom grid to keep the surface from scratching. Would recommend this sink.

We bought this thinking it would be a higher quality that the 20-gauge sink that's half the price. The finish on this is very rough; sound deadening is minimal. It's a little heavier than the cheaper one, but definitely not worth the extra money. Very frustrating.

For a new installation this sink deserves a 5 star rating because of the 18 gauge thickness and the 304 quality of stainless steel. The counter can be cut to a width that accomodates the 24 3/8" wide mounting rails. However, the 5/16" left for supporting the sink may be insufficient. Durability may suffer. As a replacement this sink deserves a 1 star rating because existing installations, most of which have permanently installed trim in place, are not wide enough. Such was my case. Two of us pondered the problem for over an hour. The info was all there in the description of the sink. Still we miscalculated. The fault in buying is mine. Also, this sink may be designed poorly to be a drop-in sink. Most drop-ins allow a lip up to 1" for support. This sink allows only 5/16" (The overall width is 25". The specified cutout width is 24 3/8"). It is questionable if the curvature at the lip gives the sink the supporting strength that it will need. I give the sink 4 stars overall but I do not recommend it as a replacement sink.

Fit my needs for a shallow sink perfectly!

This sink was very simple and easy to install. Very impresses with the quality

Everything fit properly and installation was relatively easy. Only problem I had was the retainer clips slipped out of the track in the middle of the track, which didn't make sense because the instructions said to install the clips towards both ends and the middle.

Generous size, quality material and easy to install if you have had experience with sink installations. I will install Elkay sink in a workshop environment. Drop in install is easy...simply use the template to cut the correct size into the countertop and you are ready for the plumbing (this is easy too if you have had any experience with running drain and water supply lines). I plan on using flexible supply lines (inexpensive and ready to use) and a flexible drain kit (Home Depot). I realize the stainless steel finish (which is beautiful to the eye) will take a lot of abuse in the shop ...and hence many scratches will appear. This unit will be in my shop where I care more for functionality than looks. BUT over time I trust the 'brushed look' of the sink's finish will blend in minor scratches with the finish (as we've experienced with our kitchen sink). I point this out because the 'look' of the sink is a major selling point and some folks may be disappointed when scratches first appear in their sink. This IS normal for stainless steel. ...and can be minimized by using care when placing sharp objects, steel pots and pans in the sink.

Love it!

Large single bowl stainless steel sink makes for easy cleaning of large pots and pans. The pre-drilled faucet holes for easy installation. Elkay brand is the one of the best so you know the stainless is of high quality and will not rust. Like any stainless steel it will scratch if not treated with care, but other than that will last a lifetime and is warrantied as such.

Nicely made Drop - in stainless STEEL 31 IN. 3-HOLE SINGLE BASIN KITCHEN SINK. Great finish. Quality built and nicely finished. Some people prefer double basin. I chose this one as it allows me to soak in big kitchen cookware. But I think they have the double basin if that's what you want. I just picked what the MRS. wanted to assure myself I will continue being married. Plenty of faucets choices to make your selection complete.

I had to have a top mount sink. This was one of the few options I found in the size I needed. It has only been in for a week. It looks good but seems like it scratches easily, there are already a few scratches. I love the one bowl, I can fit large pans in the sink to wash them.

I ordered a 25-inch, 3-hole single bowl kitchen sink. Most of all 300 hundred units in this building have 25-inch, 3-hole sink but the other dimension is 22 inches, however, the one I received from Home Depot is 21 inches deep so it left a gap. I returned the item to Home Depot in the same box using the return label # 1Z 085 36A 06 1905 4320 on January 22, which is 3 weeks ago. To this day, I have not received the refund the told me on the phone. The experience was the worst I ever had.

this seams to be well built and was very easy to install. lets face it, its a sink so it is hard to get very excited, however for a low cost sink its just fine and something I would buy again if I needed one

Great stainless sink! Be careful with sharp objects (like steak knives). It does scratch easily! The ease and convenience of one large area to work in is wonderful!!!

Being very careful with the new sink we were very disappointed to see scratches in the basin after just a few days use. (Normal everyday use of a kitchen sink. We did not put anything into it that should have resulted in scratches. The stainless steel must be either poor grade or too soft.) We are very diappointed.
