[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my Architectural Mailboxes - elephantrunk package delivery box. Now I just have to get the delivery people to use it. It works just like any depository box. I do wish it had a sign with it to let them know what the box is. It comes with anchor bolts to secure to the ground. I have not used them yet, as I am trying to determine the best placement for the box.

Needed a Santa Mailbox for the community. With some white paint it looks great. The red paint is textured and shows smudges, so I will need to spray on a sealer.

First unit arrived with worn marks on the top and sides. Additionally it was dented. The dents appear to have been done prior to powder coating. Even worse, the hinge pin had come out of the hinge by 2". It turns out this unit can be opened in about 30 seconds with just a needle-nose pliers (no key) by just pulling the hinge pin. The second unit had no powder coating in some areas of the inner drum and bubbles on the powder coating on one side. Manufacturer's customer service truly wants to make this right, but I am unwilling to spend any more time dealing with this. It's going back to Home Depot.

We have noticed that light blowing snow will get into the compartment, otherwise performs very satisfactory

The Elephantrunk is holding up well. I placed the drop box in an area where it is exposed to the elements for the past three months and it is holding up well. The packages inside are dry and the box looks like new. The company responded to my last post and offered to reimburse me for the lock. They sent me a Starbucks gift card for my trouble. Their concern for customer satisfaction warranted a follow-up review. As reviewed before, I recommend this item.

I purchased the Elephantrunk to receive packages at a drop location. In comparison to commercial boxes this will not substitute for security. The box arrived packaged well in a plastic bag, in a cardboard box, in a cardboard box, in a cardboard box. Yes there were three cardboard boxes. Still arrived with a slight scrape but not worth sending back. The weight of the box at about 40 lbs requires you to bolt it to a deck or concrete. I did not want to punch a hole in the concrete so I modified the inside with heavy steel plates on the three sides and filled the base with concrete adding about 80 lbs more to the bottom. The lock would not work and was cheaply made. I had to go to The Home Depot and purchase a new lock and replace/modify it. Lastly the manufactures website stated that the powder-coat was added prior to assembly, that is incorrect as I removed the base to find bare metal at the joints there (it's still galvanized at least). Al in all I, would say that this box provides an option to receive small packages when nobody is home.

I am SO glad I have it BUT I have to struggle every-time I open it. The lock is hard to open. I just hope the key doesn’t snap in the lock. Otherwise, t feel the mailbox is fantastic!

I love it very helpful I have a neighboor like to check my mail now i feel save with this Parcel.

We live on a corner so we have had packages disappear in the past, now I feel much more confident that our packages won’t be stolen in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This elephantrunk is a very heavy duty parcel box that keeps your delivery packages safe from porch pirates and the weather. It comes with lag bolts for anchoring to ground or cement or wherever you choose to place it and comes with keys for the lock. It also has a stop delivery feature that prevents packages from entering the box during away times or vacations. Very well crafted and strong, the elephantrunk really makes me feel my packages are secure so I won't worry when I'm not home for deliveries and we put it where the delivery drivers are noticing and using it so I really think it's great. Very, very pleased.

When I went to pick it up, I was shocked how much it weighed. Love that my packages will be concealed and locked away and out of the weather!! Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The elephant trunk parcel holder is a great idea for small to medium size packages. It comes with everything you need if you choose to anchor it to the ground. (Except drill) It is also heavy and cumbersome enough that it will also free stand if you choose to skip the drilling process. The shoot opens outward & after it is deposited there is NO way anyone can reach through and grab a package. The bottom half is locked and comes with 2 keys for retrieval. The bad = there is nothing written on the outside to indicate to a delivery person to place packages inside. It is also not main stream knowledge to a delivery company, so we will see if the driver knows what to do. It does come with a teeny placard to attach to your front door to indicate the location of the box. All in all I am excited about this product for hiding all packages I am waiting for. I recommend if you live in a city and have porch pirates. Too large and heavy to carry off.

No more laying my packages by my front door exposed. I love that I know when I'm not home to receive them that they are safe until I retrieve them from the locked bottom.

I was looking for something to have that packages and mail could be dropped in and not get wet or ruined. This one is perfect and very classy. The box is all together except for the handle and some feet to put on the bottom. If you are looking for something like this you are really going to like it.

Perfect for our office space. Not too big or too small. Very sturdy.

I installed chrome metal numbers, made from good quality i wish the doora was located on back of the mailbox . i have to go in front and open in way of traffic.

Just what I needed for clients to drop off documents safely.
