The space that it have the ability to larg amounts of food. I have had for one month and I love it

I attached it to a large smoker I built. I used sawdust instead of chips or pellets and it didn’t generate as much smoke as I expected. Need more trials with different chips to give a proper assessment.

I have had the unit for around a month or so and used it on several occasions. The unit will provide plenty of smoke and I like that it is independent from the electric smoker. However, the mounting system could use some improvement. My Masterbuilt Smoker is elevated by a stand that came with the unit. The only way provided to secure the slow smoker to the smoker itself is with a hook type anchor. Currently, it is hanging loosely by that anchor. Some improvement is needed and it shouldn't be too difficult. Preset anchor holes or some type of bracket to facilitate the installation of the slow smoker could be installed at the factory. It should be noted the unit does require some attending and can be a bit onerous when adding wood chips if you don't remove the wood chip container and discard the used chips at the bottom. Overall I am well satisfied with the unit, but the mounting system definitely needs improvement.

One leg broken, Ash screen was broken, Poorly made. Called Masterbuilt, They did not care, told me to take it up with Home Depot. Piece of junk

Loved it until the element burned out. It cannot be replaced, So you have to buy a new smoker Also I do not like the way it is attached. They should have attached it from the outside as the creosote buildup makes it difficult to detach..

Smoke box really puts out the smoke.

10 minutes to set up. Works exactly as advertised.

Creates excellent smoke for an extended time period. I wouldn’t say 6 hours but 4 hours for sure.

An excellent smoker, five stars, with the "slow smoker" attachment that does an excellent job on salmon, providing smoke at low-temperature smoker settings. Requires little or no "babysitting" during the process.

Have only used the unit once. Seemed to work mostly as advertised. The connection to the Masterbuilt smoker is “Klugy” at best. Needs re-engineered. We smoked ribs for 6 hours the first time while using the unit. Had to refill the smoker 2 1/2 times with dry chips. I was hoping for a 6 hour smoke without refilling with chips. Perhaps the smoke time may be extended with soaking the chips first. Overall, satisfied with the unit. Sure beats filling the small Masterbuilt smoker tray every 30 minutes for sure!

This probably my favorite smoker, I use this smoker a lot and so for everything is great. I do recommend adding the cold smoke unit to this smoker

I bought this to use with my masterbuilt pro so I don't have to add chips every hr and for plenty of smoke when cold smoking salmon. I could not be happier with the results!

Generates a lot of smoke. I can keep the Masterbuilt 30 at a low temp. (120-140 F) and get lots of smoke from the slow smoker.Perfect for smoking salmon. Very pleased.

I am quite happy with this cold smoker. My first one, after two years, the wiring installation melted and causing it to short out. I don’t expect a product at this price to last forever, so I gladly replace it with another one just like it.

Works great as a cold smoker! Extra smoking time when using with smoker.
