does need some sanding, but very nice

I purchased 4 of these to use on different projects in my home . The wood on all of them on the middle curved portion was wavy but were good enough to go ahead and use. Others had minor flaws that I corrected with wood filler . Overall they were Ok !

Met all expectations

Lovely corbel design. We're using to enhance the look of the high ceilings in our foyer. In fact, this part of an overall millwork project plan we are pursuing. The house is over 100 years old, and most of our projects relate to enhancements that will revive the ealier feel. Quality accents make a key difference. Thus corbel is smooth, and as the descriptions say, this wood will survive an apocalypse.

I was imagining this a bit larger, because I didn't look at the measurements, but it is heavy, well made, and looks good in a smaller spot, such as on upper kitchen cabinets. Antique corbels are all the rage, but this is clean, ready to stain or paint, and available in quantities, so honestly, a good way to achieve that traditional, high end look. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to add to their woodwork in a smaller spot.

We needed these for a fireplace mantel. These were weighty looking without a lot of fussiness on them. Arrived in perfect condition. Easily paintable. Good vale for the money as some we priced were much more expensive. Exactly as shown in picture.

Nice looking corbels but not overly impressed with rubberwood.
