The Eaton 1-Gang wall plate gives a very clean look to my light switch. The black goes well with the paint in my hallway, but can match most colors. The screwless style makes the wall plate look more built-in and hides any hardware. Installation and replacement of the old generic builder grade wall plate was simple and I was able to do the upgrade within minutes.

The Eaton 1-Gang Screwless Decorator Polycarbonate Wall Plate in Black is a good idea to upgrade your wall plates to a screwless look . There is a plate that you easily screw to your wall plate with the included screws and then another top plate that simply clicks onto it . It all takes a few minutes and it looks really nice . The reason I didn't give it top marks was the plastic it is made of is very light duty and it is very shallow so if your wall switch is not really flat , it sticks out from the wall and looks a bit funny .

Easy install, looks great
Installation was easy. The cover pops off with a flat bladed screwdriver and the mounting plate has a large arrow indicating which way is up. The mounting plate screws to the switch/outlet using the same holes a normal cover plate would use, then the cover snaps on.
The finish is shiny, which is what I was after.

Switched out existing plate covers with screwless ones like this....
Switched out existing plate covers with screwless ones like this. Difficult to make it flush in some areas as well so are not perfectly straight. But it still works and looks okay.
