instructions say to trim to fit. How do I stretch it to fit as the insert I just purchased is only 35 ¼" long instead of the 36" it is supposed to be. Package was new and sealed. I'm assuming this is a random defect because frosting usually has good products. But it's very annoying to find out that you can't compete a project without making another trip back to the store.

Essential component for a door threshold to keep bugs and water out. Easy to install and trim (if needed).

Replace a 20 year old threshold that had cracked with age and use. The new insert fit and worked perfectly.

I am 88 and replaced this myself! The old one was a little hard to remove, but all in all only took about 10 minutes.! I am a female!

im happy to state, it did the job better than most choices.

Insert works well and installs easily. Only reason for 4 stars is recommendation that vinyl material be thicker/more substantial to better withstand being stepped upon.

This is the fourth insert replacement I've tried and it fit! It is flat/thin enough to go under our door out to the garage where the threshold / floor is no longer even and all the other inserts tried were too thick and bunched up under the door. Added a door sweep to close the remaining gap.

It was exactly what I needed and I couldn’t find it at any other store than The Home Depot. Thanks for stocking the product!

I used it in two different thresholds. They weren't identical, but the multiple barbs allowed it to fit both

Just the right replacement size for the threshold except for the color. I wish it came in black to match the old one that is in a bright brass threshold.

It worked out OK. It was still not the same size as original, I was able to make it work. The piece was firm and more rigid than what I would have like, but it may hold up better. Time will tell.

Trimmed with a utility knife. Easy to install. Worked perfectly.

difficult to put in on a non removable threshold, this is not the fault of the product.

This Frost King insert does not work with the Frost King threshold purchased at Home Depot. It is a different shape from the one that comes with the threshold. I compared them in the store at the time of purchase. They cannot be installed without modification and gluing in place. Even then they last less than a year before they split.
