Work perfectly for my landscape lighting project

Great product. This is my second landscape lighting install. On first, I used twist on wire nuts. They were difficult to use, messy and not water tight. On second job, I used the DryCon DryCrimp fasteners. They were very easy to use, not messy at all and easily waterproof. These cost a little more but they were more than worth the added expense. Buy these first, save yourself a lot of frustration and have a better install.

These connectors are similar to what the pro installers use; however, a few of my connectors failed to stay closed, which is a concern. But only 2 our of the first pack of 25 failed, so that may be acceptable to some people. The remainder appear to be watertight. It is also helpful to have to sizes of copper crimp sleeves provided in the package. The best crimps are done with 4-way crimping pliers, which must be purchased separately.

Excellent Product ! I modified our garden lighting system converting it from halogen to LED lights. Much of the existing wiring consisted of 8 and 10 gauge cables. The Dryconn connectors were fast and easy to use amd made a secure, water tight connection.

These wire connectors rock! They're easy to install, well-designed and provide a very tight and secure connection. It is hands down the most solid connector for low voltage garden lighting. My only observation is related to hot weather. I used it in Arizona on a normal, hot summer day and the silicone was about to run out if I left it in the sun. I had to keep it in the garage and run back and forth every time I made a new connection. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

If you're installing low voltage landscape lighting these connectors are the greatest and will last for years.
