Blade really just jumped around and didn’t cut anything, for the price I would’ve expected better performance.

This cutter works great. I weld and then use these to reshape. They seem to last forever. I go through a few only because I loose them. Great tool.

If you are doing ANY metal or even wood grinding, the only bits to invest in are carbide. They cut superior and last a long time, even when abused.

I used it to easily enlarge a cast iron hole. Bit did not break or dull.

We initially bought one of these to cut off two overtorqued nuts. The bit cut one but broke on the second. We bought two more, although we finished the job with the second bit.

This does what it’s supposed to do but is very slow at cutting and throws tiny metal shavings everywhere. I would prefer not to use it if I had another option like a jigsaw. Great for engraving though.

the bits work ok on wood. they are perfect to get into tight spaces and make odd cuts. but they do dull quickly and make a horrible stink with smoke and burn the edge. so i guess not the greatest way to make longer cuts. plus dremel is difficult to control.

I used this bit on a Dremel rotary tool to enlarge a hole in a fiberglass shower wall so I could replace a two handle faucet with a single handle one and a remodel plate. It was easier to control when moved in a clockwise direction. I used the Dremel guide to control the depth and stabilize the cutter. A pilot hole or existing opening is needed when starting the cut.

I needed it to lightly grind down the open edge of an aluminum screen door. Worked perfectly

Just the ticket for hardened steel. The only other burr that cuts hardened knife blade steel is diamond and they are slow and wear out quickly. This carbide burr cuts much faster (still slow in hr58 ish) but at least it moves some metal. Still feels as sharp as it started out which surprised me.

I used it to cut and shape an aluminum cover. I kept the work surface wet to help keep the bit clean of material. Worked clean and smooth

worked as well as all its predecessors - used to clean up small stainless steel welds (I'm a better grinder than welder)

Did a great job

This is my go-to cutter. I have probably purchased 4 of them over the years but keep on losing them because the Dremel plastic cases have poor clear plastic lids and the cutters fall out. I can cut metal, wood and plastic without the cutter dulling.

I needed to bore a hole one inch in diameter in the housing of a fluorescent light fixture I was installing. After drilling a pilot hole, this bit did a great job cutting through the metal to give me the opening I needed to run my wires.
