Opening MUST be to exact dimensions and plumb or it's not going to fit!
Difficult to install and requires at least 2 people.
Well worth the money when it's complete!!

There was a two inch chip on the edge of...
There was a two inch chip on the edge of on the glass panel . Decided to keep it and covered with the vinyl strip. Other than that, beautiful door

Beautiful Door at a great price
This Dreamline Shower door looks beautiful and well worth the extra time spent in prepping the walls for plumbness and support. We did a lot of research and reading up on this before prepping the walls. The installation manual was readily available online which helped in our planning and construction. Installation was fairly easy. Just my husband and i were able to get in installed in a day. I love the sleek clean open feel it gives our bathroom . It truly is a beautiful door and looks way more expensive than it actually is. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Looks and works great!
What can I say? It sets off our tile shower better than I expected. Friends and family respond with "wows" and "I want one".
Finish and operation were flawless and it came with a good set of instructions. I am a commercial carpenter with 30 years experience and your recommendation of professional installation is valid. It takes a lot of focus and near perfect execution to install.
Comments:
You state that there is no adjustment in width. Stating that the opening tolerance (IMO) is +- 1/16" would be more helpful.
Your instruction to use the 5/8" shipping spacer to set height works but verifying the amount of side slope on the threshold could be important. The sweep contacts the outside (higher side) first and excessive cross slope could cause it to drag and inhibit closing. Not a problem for me but I did notice this potential issue.
