For the money this shower door is an excellent choice. It took me about 3 hours to install and it takes two people. I had some difficulties drilling through the ceramic tile so I drilled new holes in the wall profile piece so I could go through grout lines. I wish the hinge screws were a torques head instead of a Phillips head. This would make the assembly much easier. I stripped out two of the hinge screws but luckily the kit came with extras. I used the hinge shims as a template when drilling the holes. Finally, I wish the inside two holes of the hinges were outside the profile of the hinge so the glass wouldn't need to be removed. All in all this is a super nice door.

Beautiful installed shower door.
The glass panels are very heavy. This is a job for two. This is not a install for a novice. The hinges must be accurately installed an the walls must be plumb. The main problem I had was drilling through the tile I installed, but with the help of a diamond tipped bid I got the job done.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!
I started shopping for a frameless glass shower door for my newly renovated bathroom and was recommended this product by the Home Depot design center. This is an exceptional product! Very well made. Just know that it has to be installed properly. Very sturdy if done right.

Dreamline doors more than met my expectations. These doors are absolutely beautiful. The quality is well worth the cost which I felt was resonable . Their customer service team is also excellent. I spent a lot of time researching shower doors and felt Dreamline best in class for quality vs cost.

Thank you for your feedback. The Unidoor that you chose does require double studs or wood blocking where the hinges are to be installed. We can assure you that if your door is installed to studs with the supplied screws it will be just fine. The weight of the door is needed to enable the heavy duty brass hinges to operate. Custom Installation at Half the Price. This is a beautiful product that makes the whole bathroom look like its in a five star hotel. It took my son and I about 4 hours to complete the installation. The product was well packaged and protected. Not one piece of damage. The installation instructions were complete and very understandable. There are a few variations available to your installation and the fit was perfect.My store in Sevierville Tennessee is the best! The staff is always helpful and they have a great management staff. They know they're products.Thank You, DreamLine and of course The Home Depot. Great product at a fair price.

It didn't really. didn't realize that the door comes with shelves that I will never use so now I have 2 holes and nothing to plug them with. Guess it was my mistake to not pay attention to what was recommended by the associate. Is there I plain piece of glass that can be replace? Thanks

Perfect choice for our new Shower!!!
My wife and I demolition of our forty year old tub/ shower and we retrofited a
new Shower with three walls.
The DreamLine Unidoor style B was an OUTSTANDING finishing touch.
We did the whole project ourselves and the Dreamline instructions
were easy to follow. Can be done will good mechanical ability.
Had a small problem with the Hinges grinding when opening and closing the
door. A little WD40 did the trick and two months later all is good!!

The Glass Door and the Glass Panel were different sizes...
The Glass Door and the Glass Panel were different sizes and could not be installed so the top of the door and the top of the matching panel were even. It was installed per the directions by a professional installer.

Thank you for your feedback. The DreamLine Unidoor shower door that you purchased features a moving door panel that measures 71-3/8" and a stationary panel that measures 72". When the moving panel is installed with the required 5/8" space between the bottom of the shower door and the top of your threshold, the two panels will aline perfectly at the top of your shower door. DreamLine provides the 5/8" spacer to be used on the bottom of the door during the installation process to assure that your panels line up. If your installer removed these and installed the door without them, it is very possible that your shower door was installed at the incorrect height.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Bought this shower door in 2012. The brackets which hold the door loosened and could not be fixed. Called customer service and they promptly replaced the brackets at a reasonably discounted price. They also threw in some bolts which hold the shelves in for free! Items arrived promptly at my doorstep. Thank you Dreamline!

Exactly as advertised. I have one wall that is 3/4" out of plumb over a 6' length, and the base was 58" exactly. This product fit the bottom perfectly and the side track was able to accommodate the out of plumb wall with no problem. I don't believe it said so, but this unit comes with two glass shelves that were awesome (forgot to put any shelves in while tiling the shower) but also serve to strengthen the stationary glass plate. The stationary plate didn't fall in line with a stud, but with the anchors included and the fact it sits on the curb, no problem. I am an experienced DIY'er, but the unit is easy to install. Definitely a 2 person job, the glass is heavy. I highly recommend it.

Very heavy, but I guess glass is. Be careful handling and installing or have somebody do it for you but you'll be happy either way.
