I installed the door first and the stationary glass second, all as per instructions. The stationary glass ended up about 3/8" higher than the door. I think the threshold is not perfectly level thus raising the stationary glass. The good news is my wife didn't notice and is very happy. I was concerned about the 1" channels as I preferred a 100% frameless look but they are hardly noticeable. The package arrived with a chip in the glass and a bent channel. It was promptly replaced, no questioned asked. This is my second DreamLline shower to install and it saved a minimum of $1000 each when compared to a professional installation.

We really enjoy this shower door, now that it is installed. DreamLine has many versions of this basic door. The instructions sent with our door were not the correct ones for our door. This caused a lot of confusion and difficulty in the installation. I am a fairly handy DIY guy, but this was really a pain.

We love this shower door. Door is very heavy. Screws were not the best. We had to get additional screws. Since our opening was less than square due to the tile, we cannot use both water strips along the door and stationary door. We only placed the ware edge on the stationary door. It works, water does not leak out. We couldn't adjust it with the shims either. We've had the door for approx 3-4 months. We are happy with the door.
