We've had our shower door installed for about a month now and I'm very happy with it! It looks beautiful, the weight of it is heavy so that it feels luxurious, the water runs off of it nicely, and the water is contained within the shower.

straight forward installation. We have subway tile and I was concerned with the irregular surface along with 1/4 inch difference in top vs bottom measurement. Door fit great and the sweeps do a great job of diverting the water.

Good quality
Very nice glass, looks good installed. The instructions are very clear for installation. I do wish the side panel glass was actually 6 inches so that less metal would be visible after installation. From the description and drawings, I expected the out of plumb adjustments to be mostly contained within the wall profile. The glass profile metal piece is mostly visible since the glass piece is actually under 5 inches.

Build quality of this door is very good. The glass is thick and very heavy. The hardware is solid and not cheap at all. Installation is not terribly complicated, but not easy, either. It's tough to hold the door up to mark the hinge location. A paper template would have been far easier.

This shower door is absolutely beautiful! The streamline design and overall quality are amazing for the price. It came securely packaged and was delivered promptly. I had a technical question and live chatted with a representative from DreamLine. Their customer service was totally incredible. The best I have ever experienced. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and their product line.

      Great looking door
I wanted a framelse's door and this one is great. I installed it myself with a little help from my wife. Installation was no problem. Looks great.

      Take my advice!!!
Let me start my saying that my bathroom remodel has been filled with problems! My contractor, while a nice person, measured incorrectly and we ordered the wrong sized door. Take my advice! Wait until your tile is up before you measure for any glass shower door! I was heartbroken that the door didn't fit. Luckily I purchased it locally and after about 20 minutes talking to a DreamLine customer service rep, I ordered a door that they assured me would fit perfectly....and it did! The best part of the whole remodel was walking in and seeing that shower door in place!

        Good quality Lousy directions
Directions made things more difficult because they applied to more than one model.. There were extra parts because they applied to more than one model..Screwing hinges in to wall was tricky because one of the screws on top hinge is impeded and will scratch inside hinge.. Their solution is to carefully remove the inside plate of hinge attached to door. I almost lost the door by doing that procedure..Next, removing shim beneath door was a chore. Try removing a 5/8 piece of wood from bsottom of door and shower curb after heavy glass door was resting on while hinges were screwed to wall . Last part of directions said to make sure the stationary piece of glass is even with top of door. Can't be done unless you remove bottom hinge and shim the hinge at the wall. I just left it alone..If anyone notices a 1/4 difference between the two pieces of glass, they can make the adjustment.

Response from THD -Customer ServiceAug 5, 2014
Many of our Unidoor components are used in different configurations, and the installation manual is designed to cover each of these. The Unidoor installation manual has recently been updated and should be available on our website shortly. The door installation is the same for each, but knowing which configuration you have ordered will make it easier to follow. The parts lists are provided for each style, however, the one extra part that you may have is the L-strike vinyl #8, which is only used for single door installation. The door glass needs to be installed first, at a height of 72". We recommend that you use 5/8" shims to ensure the proper spacing beneath the door. You can also use one of the 72" vinyl strips as a gauge to make sure that your installed door finishes at a height of 72", especially if you are installing along with panel glass. The easiest way to install the hinges is to first attach them to the door glass. Use a pair of 5/8" shims beneath the door to get the correct height, Mark the hinge locations on the wall, then remove the hinges from the door glass; drill your eight holes and install the hinges to the wall (without the inside hinge plate or door glass in the way to impede your ability to get the inside two screws in straight without scratching the hinge plate). You can use the provided wall plate shims to correct for an out of plumb hinge-side wall if necessary. The inline panel glass is then aligned with the installed door glass to ensure a tight seal. Of primary concern is ordering the correct model size based on your finished opening width. As far as water dripping off of the door onto the floor, you could use a bath mat or simply close the door after stepping out of the shower to prevent the water dripping off the glass onto the floor.
