After 3 years of having the greenhouse up to protect plants in the mild Texas winters, the dome material is literally disintegrating. It isn't even strong enough to hold a patch. My greenhouse is frayed in 4 different spots, creating holes of a foot or more. The company does not offer replacement material and will not do anything about it since the product is only warrantied for one year. NOT a good buy for the expensive price!

We ordered this because our plant situation has "grown"! We have had one for several years and put it up every winter. It is fairly easy to put up (my husband and I) and works great! Has lasted several years. I highly recommend this item. Very roomy, easy to secure to the ground if need be. Just overall works great for us.

Excellent for the price
I've owned permanent greenhouses before---two of them actually. I spent thousands of dollars on both of them---one of fiber glass and one of poly. Both eventually needing re-glazing because nothing lasts forever when you're talking about greenhouses. This greenhouse will NOT last forever because when it comes to greenhouses no glazing lasts forever, BUT this is an excellent greenhouse for the money and so easy to set up and use. You must take this greenhouse down every year if you want any kind of longevity. What I do love about this greenhouse are the ridge vents and base vents. If you've every owned a permanent greenhouse, you know just how important these are. You must have air circulation because if you don't have that, you're going to have a bunch of sick plants. This greenhouse has ample vents, and that is a big, big plus. Would buy again for sure. It's held up to some strong winds with proper anchoring. I've owned it for 2+ years now.

What a piece of trash
I bought one of these units, nothing grew in it. When trying to "easily push in the sides" to fold back up, at least 5 fiberglass rods broke at the base. I've tried 5 times to install and tear down, can't get the unit to fold back up to go in the bag. The only reason I've not taken a knife to it is, would like to try one more time before I give it no stars
and eat my money

@ 9000'
Just put up our 2nd Dome house and it looks like it is slightly better made than the 1st one. We live at 9000' in a very short growing season. The wind can be extreme and the sun is really intense so we only got 2 good years out of our 1st dome house, but made it last 3 with some wind fraying and some broken fiber poles on the inside. It works well in every weather condition except snow where it will collapse if you don't shake the snow off frequently. I'll update this at the end of our growing season around early September, but it looks good for now.

disposable greenhouse
I agree with the reviewer from Dallas. The greenhouse erected easily enough and was great while it lasted, but keeping it out year-round shortens it's lifespan. I've had mine for 2-3 years and it is now rapidly disintegrating. Must be our intense Texas sun and weather. Consider it a disposable greenhouse or plan to take it down over the warmer months.

I love it. So sturdy. I live at the coast where the winds are strong. I haven't even had to tie down yet, just staked. So much room for growing. In the winter, once I do tie down, I will subsitute with ledgrowlights and enjoy salads and veggies all year. I do recommend it.

fell apart
I loved this for a year. But after a year and a half year it fell apart. The zippers on the door and the screen door broke, the screen ripped, and now it is in my backyard half collapsed and the poles are poking through the plastic. It is beyond repair. The manufacturer website states it can be put away and stored or kept up for year round use. I don't suggest the latter. It is a good product if you can afford to replace it every year or two. It did save all our plants from the cold weather. But now it is going to the recycle pile.

My plants love it!
I needed a greenhouse, but didn't have room for a permanent one. When I pulled my plants out in the Spring they were in fabulous condition. The greenhouse is easy to set up and is quite stable. It never lifted or blew over. I did put bricks around the perimeter to make sure no animals could squeeze in under the base. Even my tallest palms fit inside. Excellent product for the price. It was a little hard to fold it back into the compact package it came in. I broke a few rods in the process and the manufacturer replaced then for just a shipping fee.
