There is only 2 wires. It's not a double pole thermostat. Double pole thermostat will have 4 wires. I'm going to returns too much cus you lie!

I bought this thermostat for my new shed/shop, along with a 2000W dimplex heater. It has worked fine most of the times but got stuck once and the shed went to 27C. 1 year later and it got stuck again once again going to 26C while it is -5C outside. The shed is 12 x 12 and very well insulated. I cycled the thermostat and it still wouldn't turn off the heater. After a little bit of cycling it finally worked again. I took the cover off and cannot find anything physically wrong with it. What can be wrong? Both the heater and thermostat are new 2 years ago.

Good product, Easy to mount and use, it has both Metric and Imperial knobs inside the box

There are a number of issues with this thermostat. Firstly it is difficult to install - the wires do not fit easily in a standard 2x4 box. Also the lower mounting screw is too close to the dial. I ended up scraping the dial when I installed it. Secondly and most importantly the temperature setting is way off and the hysteresis is much too large. I set for 20C and the room gets up to 16C. Then the room goes down to 13C before the thermostat kicks in again. There should only be a temperature swing of a couple of degrees for a normal thermostat.

We installed this thermostat in our bathroom about 6 weeks ago. The baseboard heater never turns off completely now. I set it as low as it goes and it kept the heater on even though the room was about 20 C. I will be replacing it, garbage. I don’t recommend this product.

Simple and cheaper feeling as expected. Time will tell about performance.

Although not a digital read out, the dial is accurate and simple to use.

I bought his thermostat last year and the temp accuracy was between 5 and 8 deg. C. I put up with it thinking that the problem was the baseboard heater. I just replaced the baseboard heater. Save your money and buy a Honeywell for less money.

I have 2 of these thermostats and they work flawlessly. The installation was simple as is adjustment. Perfect for applications that don't require precise or scheduled control.

I have worked with quite a few thermostats, and this is the worst. It has up to 3 to 7 degrees C between the on/off triggers. That means if you want it to always be at least 21C, you may need to set it to 26-28. Incredibly inefficient and the huge heat fluctuation is also very uncomfortable. A good thermostat will have a tight 1-1.5 degree variability. We installed 100 of these in the building I live in, and every one should be replaced. This product should be banned due to it's energy in-efficiency.

The wiring diagram that s included in the package is poorly written and misleading. The double pole wiring diagram actually references a 'neutral' wire coming from the source, rather than 2 lines, as is required by this type of circuit. If you search for a double pole thermostat wiring diagram online, it shows the correct terminology that should be used. There is no neutral wire used in 240v heating, unless there is a fan for forced air also in the unit. Also, just an FYI on the other commenter stating that since installing a double pole breaker, their rooms now warm up unlike before. This statement is not true as a result of the thermostat being single or double. More than likely it was either wired incorrectly when using the single pole, or the original thermostat was not functioning properly. Having a double or single pole thermostat does not change the heat output of any unit. Logically, it is more likely that the original wiring included the use of a neutral wire rather than two lines, making the heater completely ineffective at produng heat.

This was easy to install and the double pole makes a huge difference. I used to have a single pole and I could never get the room warm. With the double the room heats up faster and stays warm. I'm now converting every thermostat to double.
