These worked great for the project I was doing and the multiple grits were able to get the table top I was making nice and smooth prior to applying the finish

I've been using 80 grit, 3" x 24" sanding belts for over 40 years to sand the back splash of countertops in order to fit the curvature of the walls, I bought 2 - 2 packs of these and went through 3 belts on 1 counter top that had a total of 15 feet that needed sanding. Where other sanding belts normally will last me a long time these just exploded. I've never seen anything like these before, they still have good grit, they just fell apart.

I always use Diablo sandpaper and saw blades!

It’s a great deal for the money

I went in to buy just 36 grit sanding belts as I did in the past. There were no packs of just one grit sanding belts, ONLY a variety pack ranging from 36 grit to 80 grit. I wasted my money buying a variety pack when all I needed were 36 grit. VERY poor selection.

This works so go it turns a belt sander into a planer!

Does the job as expected

The 50 grit belt was fine. That is what I wanted. My low rating is to point out that I HAD TO BUY TWO EXTRA belts to get the one I wanted.

This had to have been a bad batch of belts. I typically love Diablo products and their quality, but these belts came apart at the glue seems within a minute of using each of them. I don’t know if maybe the store did not store them properly and moisture affected them, or maybe they had them on the shelf for far too long, but this purchase was a complete waste of money.

Diablo is industry standard; this item continues in that light

I would prefer to buy single grit packages. These belts tyically fail at the glue line. They are overpriced. If they sit unused for any length of time - they will break within minutes of use.

HD only sells a 3 pack of this size. So I have 2 belts I don’t need.
