Bottom rail too short
Bought this years ago for a tub. Water always splashed out onto the floor. Just reinstalled it on a shower base thinking if it was further away from the shower head it would not splash out... Well I was wrong. Water all over the floor again. I wish this had a full rail between the doors like the one I tossed years ago. I never had that problem with it...

DO NOT BUY!! The shower door shattered on me while I was in the shower last night. I've had the shower door since May 2015. The doors are beautiful, but early on they often would come off track just from regular use. I am a single mother and I am gentle with the doors. Last night they would not slide properly and I knew the door was off track again. I attempted to adjust the door as I was getting out of the shower and the whole thing shattered on me. I am grateful that I was not home alone, and that none of the glass went in my eyes. I was naked and standing in pieces of glass, my niece was here and had to come and assist me. I am cut on my feet and hands. See images below. I thankful to GOD, this could have been so much worse. I shutter to think if my daughter had been the one it shattered on. This is dangerous, see pictures below.

A great Shower Door. I have to tell you that I first phoned 3 local glass companies and got pricing for this same door. All over $1,000, one was actually $2,300. So I decided to take a chance and I bought the rain glass in white (as pictured). It came out great. Now you need to know that I'm a 62 yr old housewife and I did all the prep work myself. My husband helped with the lifting of the doors and putting them on the track. They look beautiful. Be sure to do your side railing corners exactly as told so that they sit squarely, this supports the weight of this heavy glass. The next thing I will say is to be sure your top piece is level otherwise the doors will not stay shut and slide. I think you will love the outcome and save $1,000 in the long run. I took my time and got it done in 2 days. Love, Love it.

Have only written 1 other review in my life but this deserved it. I'm giving this door and excellent rating for several reasons. Wanted the other brand, thicker door but it was out of stock and didn't want to wait a month for my remodel to be finished. Bought out of Home depot stock where you choose 3 steps, glass, frame and hardware as you like. I'm a 61 year old woman who is fairly handy and had done my entire bath remodel. I was very nervous about installing the shower door due to all the glass breaking reviews I had read and concern about squareness. Hands down BEST INSTRUCTIONS ever on any item I've ever purchased! Install was a breeze with no problems. Had my female 70 yr old neighbor help me put glass in. My opening was 57" and have no sag in middle, no leakage at all. Look great, work great, and were very inexpensive. I would buy Delta doors again and do recommend.

          "Do-it-yourselfer's" Dream
The price for the entire shower door kit was extremely inexpensive, very reasonably priced. The glass door panels were very well protected in their cardboard carton, as was the aluminum frame for the shower doors. The installation instructions were provided in their respective cartons, were very easy to understand and were "right-on". I believe even novice do-it-yourselfer's would not have any difficulty installing these shower doors. Home Depot did a great job with their on-line "create your own shower door" software.

WOW What a Great Shower Door
I was dreading replacing my old shower curtain with a glass sliding door. I didn't want to spend a fortune for installation so I decided to do it myself. The Cresfield Semi Frameless shower door looked good at the store and the instructions seemed pretty easy, so I went for it. I was very surprised at how well the shower door is constructed, no cheap or thin parts that you have to worry about. And the glass doors are very heavy which means they are solid and will take a lot of abuse. I will say this for the instructions, they are the best I have seen. They anticipate what you may do wrong and warn you ahead of time what to watch out for. I had the door installed in no time. The only thing I have left is trimming out where I removed trim to make room for the door. I will add one more thing that will keep you from panicking, don't throw anything away until you are completely through with the job. I almost lost the rollers for the doors because I didn't read all of the instructions. Fortunately, I had kept the foam packing and found them with the doors. The doors looks great and glide smoothly when you open and close them. I have to admit, I chose a shower door to put on my tub for one big reason. I have a tub/shower door in my other bathroom and I have to duck under the bar each time I get in or out. With the Cresfield shower door (not a tub/shower door) it it taller and is no problem getting in or out. So if you have a tub you may want to think about using a shower door instead of the usual tub/shower door.

These doors look great and opperate easily.
These doors are a lot nicer looking than anything else I found and at an amazing price. The handles that came with this kit fit nicely with my more vintage style. The doors operate smoothly and with no effort. The contractor doing my remodel installed them in very little time.

a great finishing touch to a bathroom remodel
We special ordered these glass doors for our bathroom remodel, and are very pleased with the results. Install was easy with the correct tools, especially the drill bits for the porcelain tiles.

Overall a nice set of doors
I was looking for a set of clear frameless doors to match the fixtures I installed in a new stone shower. These doors fit the bill. I liked that I could select the finish, handles and clear or frosted doors. The directions were decent and the installation was straight forward. I will say to be careful what you cut the top track with as the saw I used made the finish bubble up and pull away from the metal on the curved side about 5/8" of an inch back. I was using that side to face the inside so it was not a big deal and it should be able to be hidden with some brown caulking along the edge. I did notice that water will splash out of the doors when it hits the inside door and runs down. The outside door meets up against the rubber seal so now water gets out of that one. There is also a large gap between the doors because of the room needed for the back sides of the handles. In my installation, the water is spraying towards the gap between the doors because the outside door has to be in the front. If the inside door is to the front, the gap between them is not exposed but the water will splash out onto the floor. I have not experienced much water getting between the doors, so that is how I am using them now. I have the doors in the lowest setting on the rollers, so I can't adjust them down anymore without cutting the side tracks down some. This leaves about a 1/4" or so gap between the doors and the bottom track. I think if they were closer to the bottom, the water may not get out. I like the look of the doors and they seem to work well. The doors have a coating on the inside to help with water spots. It seems to work well.

            Shower Doors look fabulous
Very nice product, looks beautiful, very happy. Value I rated down a little, but if what you want is nice shower doors, you have to pay for it, so take that with a grain of salt. Installation: If you are not very handy, do not attempt this project, hire somebody who is. All frame pieces need to be cut to length, you want/need a good power miter saw with at least an 80 tooth carbide blade to do this. By hand with a hacksaw is going to be a butcher job. Alignment is critical you must get the frame level and plumb. More than likely, you are going to have to drill new holes, as the holes in the new frame won't match the old ones. If your surround is tile like mine, that means specific drill bits for ceramic tile. Caulking is an art, you cannot do it "out of the tube", and expect a professional looking seam....if you don't know how to get this done, it's another reason you should hire somebody who does. I repeat, however, this is a beautiful set of doors and looks fabulous.

            Beautiful Set
I received this product through the "Create Your Own Tub or Shower Door" option on Home Depot's website. That system made ordering very easy & it provides a nice visual for what the different types of glass and finishes will look like. For all of my fellow visual people out there, I highly recommend using that tool to see what the pieces will look like together. As for the doors themselves, they are very sturdy & look great installed. Now, this will come to you in 3 different boxes, so it's still a bit of a DIY project. You'll need to cut & install the track & then assemble and install the doors. The installation process wasn't that tedious, but it did take a solid couple of hours. Most of it is a 1-person job, but once you get to the point of hanging the doors & installing the towel bars, 2 people make it go much faster. For me, the worst part of the installation was drilling the 6 holes in the tile necessary to install the wall jams. TIP #1: Know what kind of tile you have. I THOUGHT the bullnose pieces around the edge of my shower were ceramic. I was wrong - it was actually porcelain. I only discovered this difference after I wasted an entire hour trying to drill pilot holes & 5/16" holes with carbide tipped bits (I did not count that wasted hour in the 2 hour installation estimate). After another trip to the store for a diamond tipped bit, it went much faster, but still took about 5 minutes per hole. If you have ceramic tiles this will go some faster. If you have stone, it will probably take a little longer. Overall, the directions were very good & they broke it down step by step, complete with illustrations. However, after having everything installed I realized I had what looked like a piece of black weather stripping left over. I poured back over the instruction manual trying to figure out where it was supposed to go, but I never found any mention of it. Finally, when looking at an illustration of the bottom track, I thought "Hmm, that looks like it would fit in there." Sure enough - it fit perfectly & alleviated the rattling when I opened the outside door (I had noticed the rattling but decided it wasn't so bad I couldn't live with it). So, TIP #2: Insert the black piece of weather stripping into the groove in the leg of the bottom track BEFORE you install the bottom track. You CAN go back and do it afterwards, but it's much harder since you have to force it in. TIP #3 - use a metal cutoff wheel for a circular saw or drill to cut the track instead of a hand saw - it GREATLY expedites the process. I initially purchased a cutoff wheel because the doors were about 1" taller than the tile on the shower & I wanted to notch the top frame so that it sat flush with both the wall and the tile. Using a cutoff wheel on a drill made the process fairly easy & just for making straight cuts on the top and bottom tracks, it will definitely save you a lot of time. The finish is very nice looking - it's sprayed on though & I could see a couple places in the corner of the wall jams where the metal wasn't covered all the way. Nothing very noticeable once installed because the doors are covering most of the wall jam, but still a little annoying. You also need to be careful with the track before installation & when cutting because it's fairly easy to scratch the finish. I had a couple scratches on the very top of the track incurred from something in the garage during the cutting process. Not a huge deal, just be careful at the beginning b/c once they're installed, they really shouldn't come in contact with sharp objects or course texture. Overall, really nice set of doors that is an excellent upgrade to any bathroom. Installation will require some effort, but the end result is worth it.

            Track does not work properly
Had this door professionally installed. Paid good money to a reputed contractor who has done other work for us. The tracks and the doors are all perfectly leveled and fits in like a frame. However the doors dont slide well like other customers have complained here. It feels like a huge effort to pull the doors to close and the wheels that slide on the track make noise grating against the track and hit the opposite screws. This should be such a simple and easy mechanism. stuck with this now
