The magnet at top of faucet that hose runs through has rusted out and I had to remove it. The spraying end piece no longer stays up because of it. It’s a poor design if the magnet rusted out so easily.

This is the second claim I will be doing on this faucet tomorrow. There is a piece called "Retainer/Magnet" and it becomes corroded and then you will see pieces of it fall out and eventually the entire piece comes out and renders the faucet hanging. Easy to change out but there is definitely a design flaw or metallurgy defect. I had this faucet for 4 years now and every 16 months I have to replace this item...Disappointed and I will be calling tomorrow.

I moved to a new home a few months ago and hated the kitchen faucet. I had this Delta Cassidy faucet in my old home and loved it so I ordered one for this kitchen. It was like welcoming an old friend. I love the way it looks and performs. It looks great in my new kitchen. It was a very good decision!

DEL-9197-RB-DST. I do like the faucet. It would have received a 4-5 star rating. But unfortunately it is already leaking after 5-6 months of light use. It is leaking at the connection between the spray head and hose. O-ring has no scars. Might be a bad design or something faulty. I still haven’t heard back about my warranty claim.

Just installed this and we ordered champagne bronze but looks completely different than the photos. Very disappointed.

Purchased Oct. 2020. After 2 months - no hot water pressure. Agent sent me new valve; no change. Spoke to agent Justin Miles who told me that they need to send me a second valve just to make sure that the valves aren't defective and if that didn't resolve issue they would send me new faucet. Asked to speak with supervisor was told one would call. That was over three weeks ago. Received new valve; same result. Called and asked to speak to Justin Miles was told no agent by that name. Recanted my history was told that I could pay 30% and get a new faucet. Guaranteed for life seems more like extortion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So taking out the old faucet was the hardest part. The new one went in with ease, for under a sink. The faucet works awesome with the shield spray This is the coolest new feature because the water isn’t going all over the place. I would recommend this to any DIY person. The results are amazing and the faucet is a dream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The delta faucet is by far the greatest faucet I have ever owned. We have had the standard traditional faucet in my home for years and it served its purpose but was definitely time for an upgrade. It was the first time I have took on a home improvement job by my self and I felt so accomplished when I was finished. It was fairly easy to set up and put in, the hardest part was taking the old faucet out. This faucet has three different settings, one is regular running water, the next is shower spray which is great for washing tough stains off of the dishes and the other spray is a thin spray. The nozzle is detachable so you can get a more spot on clean for your dishes and it’s also great for cleaning all around the sink. My fiancé was so excited when I put this faucet in! She likes that there is more space in the sink and she’s not constantly hitting the faucet with dishes. I would defiantly recommend this faucet to anyone who is in the market for a new one.

I searched for ever for a faucet and am so happy I ordered this one. My pull-out Pfister from a big box store started leaking out the top after two years and we couldn't get the handle to come off. I wanted to upgrade to a pull-down that wasn't so tall it interfered with the cabinets above. The Cassidy is a high arch and was perfect. It swivels completely around in a solid fashion with ease, but yet does not wobble at all in the base. I like that the handle is elevated a bit from the counter. I have it mounted to the right and I don't seem to be dripping water down it all the time. The cartridge feels fairly solid and I hope will last for years to come. I was reluctant to get the basic chrome color at first but it looks really sharp and I think it was the right choice. The metal feels really solid and the magnetic nozzle snaps firmly back into place.

I purchased this faucet to match my champagne bronze pot filler, model 1177LF-CZ if anyone is interested. Anyway, this product should not have come to market without thorough evaluation of the touch2o feature. It works sporadically, intermittently, variably, and unreliably. It often activates when you don't touch it, it often doesn't when you do. I've been through a number of troubleshooting procedures including: 1) Reinstalling the faucet and cleaning all the parts 2) Making sure the wire that goes to the battery pack does not touch any other part of the faucet 3) Wrapping said wire with shielding 4) Purchasing the hard wiring kit which included running a dedicated GFCI outlet under the sink 5) Swapping the GFCI with a standard outlet and Swapping back 6) Wrapping all the components in shielding at the base of the unit including hot and cold inlets The unit is aesthetically pleasing and I'm heavily invested having purchased the matching pot filler so I have been painstakingly holding on, if you could avoid buying this, steer clear.

Had a White Moen faucet that needed parts replaced due to discoloration of plastic parts. Moen replaced and it happened again. Decided to go with Delta Champaign Bronze color. Easy on off control. Fully movable neck that seems to glide in each direction. Quality stands out. Worth the cost!!!Bronze tone matches light fixtures and new knobs and changed the entire look of the kitchen. Delta has best option for this color. Recommend this faucet in any finish.

This faucet worked well for about a week. After that, it was slow torture until it finally died. It started with the touch feature functioning about half the time, and only if it was touched in one specific location on the side and (if you were feeling lucky) occasionally on the handle. I kept replacing batteries thinking that would solve the problem, but it never helped. Some days it would go hours before it decided to cooperate. Sometimes you'd be sitting in the livingroom reading a book and it would just to turn itself on out of the blue, giving you a split second panic attack about the stranger in your kitchen, until you realized it was just the devil faucet toying with you. Sometimes it refused to turn off and would run until the auto off feature engaged. It's been just under 2 years since this faucet has been installed and it no longer functions at all. Not even manually. After 2 days of wondering if the demon who possess it will come back to life, I think the nightmare is finally over. However, now I have a sink full of dirty dishes I can't clean until I purchase and install a new faucet. Worst purchase ever.

I had my kitchen remodeled about a year ago. The faucet looks like the day it was installed. It works flawlessly. It does what it is supposed to do. We have hard water but it doesn't have any white residue and cleans up easily. I have a 30 inch apron sink and can clean every bit of it simply. There is so much available on line but my plumber cautioned me that parts may not be available and quality varies widely. With Delta you know what you are getting. A quality product and a company that stands by their products. I also have Delta in my bathroom as well. Two different remodelers usa and recommend Delta. This style worked out perfectly for me. I couldn't be more pleased.

Faucet is fine I'm sure. Home Depot advertises as it in the pictures as being the newer model with shield spray, including pictures of the Cassidy with the required third button for this feature. However, this model does not have it. According to a rude customer service representative, Home Depot does not have any of the Cassidy Model 9197T with this feature, so do not think that you can return it to hopefully get the correct model. If you want any newer Delta model with that feature and want to purchase from Home Depot, make sure it is in multiple places in the product description. I will be purchasing somewhere that does not put false pictures to encourage purchases and treats you poorly when you call about fixing the matter. I'll be without a kitchen faucet for another few days at least and have to go through the trouble of returning this item. If they correct the advertising, you can disregard this review (assuming they let it post). Note, I generally do not have any issues with customer service, and when I do call, which is rarely, I do not call looking to instigate anything. I just do not appreciate being talked down to like this was my fault somehow. While I understand part of this review mentions the customer service (which I will be contacting about separately), this review is about the product being falsely advertised as having features that it does not, so I believe it is still appropriate. I wish someone had left a similar review prior to my purchase. Hopefully this helps someone avoid a similar mistake.

Features are well described and the quality appears to be very good. Installation was simple. The style and finish are perfect.

Have had the faucet 4 weeks now. The finish is beautiful, faucet works as advertised. No drips, great glide and the magnet lock for the sprayer is very nice. Easy to install.

I gifted this faucet to myself after years with a pull out one, and the Cassidy is much more functional and good looking in my open kitchen. Now I can’t imagine life without it!

This faucet is the perfect compliment to the sink and counters. The One Touch feature is an added bonus to the simple yet beautiful design. It was also very easy to install for a new to DIY.

We love this faucet. I was afraid the Arctic steel would get washed out by the stainless steel sink but it accents it nicely. Fingerprints are not a problem. Love the light spray or stream option. Sprayer locks tight back into base- which was our biggest concern. A very nice addition to our kitchen. Very happy with the fixture and with Home Depot.....great no hassle returns!!!

The overall design/fit and finish is beautiful. The performance is good, only dislike is the magnetic docking system for the spray head. It doesn't suck up into the docking system, you have to physically put it in place.

I am not sure what I like the most about this faucet, the touch feature the pull-down or the finish (champagne bronze). I am thrilled with my choice and it is worth every penny!!

Easy to install, though for my stainless steel sink I needed to order a baseplate to cover the old three-hole arrangement, and a reinforcing backing plate to install under the sink (sold separately). Connections were easy. It is a very nice looking, performing faucet and has significantly upgraded the appearance of my kitchen!

My wife and pondered if the touch feature was worth the extra money. Having used the faucet now for a month or so, the answer is YES. Also, the fact that the handle operates from top to bottom rather than front to back, like most other faucets we looked at, was another major consideration. If we had installed one of those others, we'd not be able to fully rotate the handle as it would hit the backsplash before it was all the way back. We also like the magnetic docking for the sprayer head. It gives a reassuring click when you push the sprayer head back into the faucet arm so no worries and it not seating properly. It was easy to install (in granite countertop), the instructions seemed to me to be pretty clear. If you worry about the touch feature having issues, it's a simple matter of disconnecting the two hoses that go to and from the value assembly and connecting the two ends together so you can use it as a conventional faucet. But so far, no issues what so ever.

We installed the Cassidy faucet about 6 months ago and we are very happy with the purchase. I have no problem recommending this product.

We like our new faucet, just had complete kitchen remodel completed two months ago. For some reason with the head off water pressure is great but screws the head on and we lose water pressure, plumber had head off once and it improved slightly but now it’s right back to low pressure, very frustrating

The day after HD Contracted Countertop plumber installed Delta Cassidy kitchen faucet was leaking due to faulty lining. Called HD, & would not return past deadline. Called Delta & told to take apart faucet ourselves & troubleshoot. Think again before you buy this faucet or any Delta product, they do not make it easy to replace faulty product. Waiting for Delta to authorize a replacement. So disappointed I thought I was buying a quality product?!?
