The head works fine. But it is too close to the wall. If there are extended brackets that would help. When the head is turned the hose and the end of the head hits the back wall and will knock it out of the cradle. This was installed by a professional during a shower conversion by Statewide Remodeling.

Nice unit. Love it. I lost the hardware kit and ordered per the parts list on Delta's website. FYI, Hardware kit RP64149 for Delta 57021SS is NOT correct.

Have had this installed for 2.5 years. Was happy with it the first year but it has gradually gotten to the point where we barely have enough water pressure to wash the shampoo out of our hair. Please advise me on how to clean out sediment or what to do. I am very frustrated with this shower head.

There is not enough room between the wall and the slide bar to adjust the the shower head angle downwards. When you try to angle it down it pushes the hose and handle against the wall until the handle comes out of the holder.

There is not enough room between the wall and the slide bar to adequately use the shower head. When in use, the shower head needs to angle down which in turn puts a kink in the hose near the base of the handle. The handle then pushes against the wall creating pressure enough to pop the bottom mount from off the wall. To use the shower, I have too keep my squeegee behind the handle to hold it up otherwise the weight from the head is too much to handle and fold down thus cutting off the water pressure. It is a design flaw as there needs to be more room between the wall and the slide bar.

We have enjoyed this shower package for more than five years. Three settings - soft overall shower, powerful direct massage, and an indirect open flow. The hose assists in shaving legs, and also provides direct aim for a relaxing massage for tired shoulders. We like it, we would buy it again, and we recommend it to others. The finish has held up very well - no discoloration or rust or delamination.

After a couple years of working fine it's now leaking from inside the head. It's only leaking on one of the modes, but its the mode we prefer. I've been looking for a way to repair it, but it looks like I need a new shower head.

Very sturdy and easy to install

This product was installed by a professional plumber. The bracket that holds the removable hand shower head in position does not work properly (the shower head is too heavy and the shower head tilts downward). The sliding bar bracket stays in place on the bar ... but the bracket part that is supposed to hold the hand shower in place turns and the shower head sprays downward (instead of at an angle). I have to use a clear plastic suction cup holder (placed on the wall) to keep the shower head from tilting downward.

Good product. High quality, attractive, fit and finish is great. BUT, very wimpy water pressure. I have very good water service. Have had other Hand Showers. This one is a 5 on a 10 scale. NO massage here...

I read a lot of reviews talking about it not staying up or leaking. I'm not sure what peoples expectations are but this is a really good product and does everything it should.

Sadly the shower head selection spray dial leaks so bad all around the black rubber ring we are unable to use the head except on strong message spray. I researched the Delta site only to find no part # or recommendation how to prevent the leak. I would not buy Delta 57021 again.

Leaving the shower head at an angle results in a kink in the hose. Must return the shower head to the vertical position after using. The position on the sliding bar has never been changed.

This product was installed by a professional plumber / contractor in a new home's master bath. The shower head bracket that holds the shower head has a set screw in it that does not work - that is, it does not hold the shower head into position and it slides down to the lowest position and the shower head points directly to the floor of the shower. This has caused the hose to kink which reduces the water flow to only a trickle. I've tried tightening the screw dozens of times and it just does not work - the hose is now starting to leak. To solve the problem I've had to prop the shower head (& hose) behind the bar and put a block of wood behind it to keep the shower in a position to deliver a spray - unfortunately the spray now hits the shower wall and not the person taking a shower but this at least allows water flow and a somewhat directed steam of water. I've also tried duck tape. There does not seem to be a solution at least one that I have been able to figure out.

I purchased and installed this unit and all the matching products one year ago while remodeling an entire bathroom. The bronze color has chipped/peeled off in several areas of the hose leaving the chrome underneath color showing thru. I was not expecting this from a Delta product and thus one year later looking for the hose replacement part along with the unexpected additional cost. Very disappointed.

Works great, 3 different spray patterns and adjustable handle

The clamp that holds the shower head started to untighten itself after about 1 year. I tried to tighten the clamp every few days but it still would not work. The shower head would fall on to the ground every night until I started pushing the hose toward the wall and kind of let the wall keep the shower head upright. The hose got constantly bent because of that and it started leaking after about 2.5 years.

This is a waste of good money, due to such a poor design. When mounted on the wall the slide cannot be rotated fully since the locking handle pieces will not fit between the wall and the slide rod. The handheld wand will face straight out unlike most others that have a bend in the wand so they face downward at a slight angle. Then as mentioned by others, the hose is a piece of garbage.

This DOES NOT come with a plastic hose -- it comes with a very nice stretchable METAL hose.

Purchased last year as part of a basement bathroom remodel in the Brilliance Stainless finish. My husband needs to sit in the shower and this slide bar works very easily to adjust for people sitting or standing in the shower. The finish is great as it shows no water spots (a very important thing for us in terms of maintenance and cleaning). This was professionally installed by the plumber doing the construction. We are both pleased with this product.

Product arrived looking pretty good. Then, I began setting it up for installation; and, it's deficiencies became clearly apparent. First, no water supply fixture is sent as part of the package to connect the hose to the wall outlet from the shower. I had to purchase one from Home Depot for $27. Then there is the shower hose – an impossible-to-untwist, cheap, plastic, piece of junk that had to be replaced with a steel one which remains flexible – cost $76. Then there is the slide which allows the shower head to move on the bar. The locking device is difficult to access; and, because of it's design is inconvenient to tighten. Finally, the device that holds the shower head on the bar is not strong enough to hold the top heavy shower head in the desired position. If you're looking for a good-looking product that will ultimately cost you more than twice its original cost, is inconvenient to operate, and is constructed of poor quality, this is the product for you!

Was what I need for my 92 year old father in law who resides with us allowing him to sit in the shower and use the hand held

We got this because we were enlarging our shower to have room for a shower bench. This shower unit works well, standing or sitting down.

I had a little problem with the bracket that holds the sprayer. It would not tighten enough and the sprayer would not hold position (it would flop forward). Because of this, the hose got a little bent/kinked holding the weight against the shower wall. I just got off the phone with Delta and they were awesome. The customer service person was a real help and they are sending me replacement parts. I hope the new one does not have the same problem. If so, they said they'll replace with a different model.

We have installed similar Delta shower slide bars in several homes now. We have always been pleased with their quality and performance. This one too seems sturdy, looks good and can be installed by just drilling 2 holes for the slide bar. The clamping system does not slip when tightened. It is the perfect solution for different height users and for those who need to sit for a shower. The only small negative I found is the feel of the hand spray grip.
