I think this u.s a great option for updating without having to do a huge project. However, we rsn into some issues probably bc my condo was built in 1986. The bathtub water spout is a Delta product but the trim kit spout attaches differently than the existing one. Mine has an inside part that the trim kit one doesn't. Any chance I can get that part?

Worked great in my new shower and tankless water heater (EcoSmart from HD). Said it did not come with valve but it was in the box. With the valve it is certainly worth the price.

A very nice trim kit and a great way to update your Delta faucet. It should be noted that this kit comes with the RP46074 gray cartridge. If you have an older vale, say older than 2005 you will need to purchase the RP19804 blue and white cartridge (see photo). Also, when removing the valve cartridge ring be careful if it is corroded. Too much torque will damage the body and make it leak.

Existing Wall Valve Compatability
Nice product other than as a replacement, the cartridge is not compatible with the previous Delta wall valve that was originally installed around 2000. Replacing the valve takes the trim replacement project from very simple to rather major. I assume Delta must of had issues with the old cartridge/valve to warrant a new design.I was unable to locate a cartridge conversion, unfortunate it could not be a simple conversion vs. a valve replacement.

American Standard shower body is not compatible with DELTA products
Purchased a American Standard shower body. Home Depot web site had suggestions of products to purchase along with shower body. It suggested to buy a Delta cartridge and finish plate to purchase along with American Standard SB. They are in no way compatible. Correct cartridge was purchased elsewhere. Website should be corrected, very misguided.
