Customer Reviews for Delta Classic Single-Handle Standard Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Stainless Steel

The basement of my 1929 Craftsman house leaves much to be desired. I wanted a kitchen type set up and started searching for a sink, countertop and faucet. I stumbled upon Delta's recertified faucets and chose this one. I wanted an old-school type. The faucet has a great flow, shuts off properly and looks great. I sort of wish I had chosen the one with the sprayer in the base rather than on the side so I could have a soap dispenser. In spite of that, I am very happy with this faucet and how it looks in my basement laundry corner.

Its either too hot or cold no in-between setting. Provided i have the right model, where can i buy a new cartridge and find the steps for replacing it? Will it fix the leaky nature of the faucet, too?

Extremely disappointed in this kitchen faucet. Dripping all the time & the handle feels like it’s about to break. I’m having it replaced this week with a Moen, traditional standard faucet. Don’t buy this product. I paid $100, and it’s not worth $20.

I’ve had this faucet three years now and by the start of year two I’ve noticed wobbling in the handle and it already feels loose. I have just had to replace the delta side sprayer and hose with a universal one because the spray button on the delta one started sticking to the on position preventing me from being able to use the faucet. It started about 4-5 days before it ended up sticking permanently. There are plenty of less expensive “lower end” or “midgrade” faucets that I believe would’ve held up as long or longer than the parts on this one but I opted for this more expensive one that doesn’t seem to give you added quality for the additional money. Yes, it still works but I will end up replacing this one really soon because it’s only a matter of time before something else goes wrong with it.

Previous was a long goose neck. Got tired of it as a replacement due to the fact it significantly reduced water pressure. Such that it took almost 53 seconds to fill a 12 cup coffee pot. Now it is filled in about 13 seconds. Extremely please with the appearance and function. The sprayer is an absolute plus. We are extremely pleased with this faucet. The installation was a breeze. Only thing I would suggest is plastic caps, of common size, for shutoff’s under sink. Even with shutoff, you chance a back pressure from second level homes. Overall: excellent choice, functionality, aesthetically pleasing, easy to install. Time to install after removal old faucet was probably less than ten minutes, five of that was me trying to fit down there under the sink while contorting to reach the mounts. But that was our home builder design, not the faucet fault. WORTH THE BUY. LIFETIME WARRANTY INCLUDED!

It's so nice to have a working kitchen faucet! My old one (same Delta features) only worked when it felt like it, replaced all the parts, but that only helped for a few weeks. This one is very nice, it arches up, so now I can fit my lobster pot under the spigot. Spray trigger is smooth, too. Handle operates smoothly. Much better than the cheaper version (both look similar, but handle action is better)

This sink has stiff plastic tubing and cheap gaskets, instead of the flexible tubing and solid connects of my old Delta sink. I came home to find water had been gushing for hours under the sink, b/c the connector failed less than 2 days after install. My handyman worked for over an hour to shorten the tube & try to get it to stay reconnected, but the tubing continues to separate. Horrible design & quality !!!! (and now my flooring and sink cabinet are damaged & my basement drying out after the flood)

I paid 100 and didn't feel the quality was there. The sprayer was cheap looking.

Never opened because Delta replaced my broken faucet under warranty. If for no other reason I will always use Delta because of the service.

I have had this faucet up for about 4 years now and tonight when I went to use the sprayer it broke off at the plastic diverter fitting. Guess what, yep water everywhere, lots of mess and cussing the bad design. The sprayer is part number RP60097 and runs $27 from what I can see online. I put the diverter plug that came with the faucet back in for the time being. I'm a mechanical engineer who designs plastic parts, when i look at the very thin walls and sharp transition from the barrel to the flange it is no surprise it broke here. This sink does not get a lot of use and when used it is mostly by me so I know it is not being tugged on. Needless to say i'm pretty bummed out right now. It is not worth the $27 to buy a new sprayer assy nor am I pleased with the thought of sending the whole thing back to Delta and be left staring at the holes in my functioning sink for weeks.

Product was very easy to install and it has met my needs perfectly.

Installation itself was very easy, however it can not cancel off the disappointment that it starts to leak after ~2yrs of normal use. It is hard to find the middle point to shut if off and faucet is dripping! Sometime you can stop the drip after wiggling around and after a few minutes it starts to drip again.

I was looking for a simple yet elegant faucet and the Delta Classic in stainless fit the bill. I had a bit of a time removing the old Delta faucet that had been in place 40 years because of rust, but once it was out of the way the new installation was a breeze and the faucet looks great! The handle action is smooth and the overall quality is great. For those having trouble with the long water connection lines, just loop them and secure with a couple cable ties.

Stylish faucet. Great build quality. Spray works great. Easy installation. Delta you hit a grand slam with this faucet.

Nothing fancy yet functional, good temperature control faucet fixture and easy to use sprayer. Recommend.

This faucet leaks through the main faucet for me. It was a slow drip - we kept drying the spout and waiting and we would get a drip after about a minute. I bought this in the store without the aid of these reviews. Now I'm annoyed to find out others had this same problem. Seems like luck of the draw as to whether yours will leak, because other reviews don't mention having a problem. I wish Home Depot would just stop carrying this product. To their credit, Home Depot did let me replace it with a Moen which works perfectly. But the 2X installation plus 2X trips to the store is a huge waste of time.

Drips little to much when you shut off. Probably cause the long neck.

I have all Delta Faucet’s in my home. I know I can rely on the Quality of them.

I will not review the faucet until I have had a chance to use it for awhile. At this point it is too soon to know how good it is. So many reviews are are given from folks that install an item, it works so gives it a 5 star review.

The faucet is great, the pipes very hard to bend.

Installation went smoothly but faucet drips. Contacted Delta and they sent a replacement cartridge. Disappointing!
