Customer Reviews for Delta Cicero Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser in Chrome

I bought this 468-SD-DST Delta faucet in 2010 and it has worked fine until recently. Now when I pull the hose out to spray the sink, very dark gray water comes out of nozzle. I am worried that the water coming out of the faucet may be contaminated. Can this be fixed?

The faucet came with my coop about four years ago so it took me about 6 hours of constant googling to zero in on what brand I actually have. I would like to try cleaning the aerator before I simply toss this piece of junk and start over. However, there appears to be some sort of tool that I don't have (like a blue roller skate key). Mind you, I do not even know if it will fix the problem. There are two settings, one for normal flow and one for spray. I noticed that while on the normal setting it was starting to spray a little. This is not acceptable at all. I tried pouring a little peroxide on the head to see if it might help and it made the problem much worse. It could be that the botton that controls the flow is shot (it seems kind of cheap). I hear that the manufacturer will send the key for nothing, but I am not about to sit on hold for two hours. I also do not know if the specific key that is available at home depot will work because this model was discontinued (Gee, I wonder why?) and it does not specifically state that it does work for this model.

I have used this 468-SD-DST for 5 years, and have replaced the Valve Cartridge after about 3 years because of leak. Recently It was hard to shut the water off, so I ordered a new Valve Cartridge and tried to replace it last week. But I could not loos the screw. I wish that the handle was made of plastic so it will be much easy for me to cut if off or at least it will not rust. Anyway the handle is solid metal, but valve catridge does not last long. It rusts under sink and hard to remove. Now I replace that with Vessona 2-Handle 21925LD-SS. The new faucet looks good and will not rust under the sink since it has no metal part under sink. It should be easy to replace valve if needed in the future.

Let me start by stating how much I hate plumbing! This product has changed my mind about plumbing though. It was so easy to install that I couldn't believe how fast I was done installing it! It has a very sleek finish and it also has a high enough neck to put large pots underneath it without getting in the way. PLUS-My wife just absolutely LOVES this faucet! Thanks DELTA!

This faucet was chosen based on reviews from several sites. Due to necessity, I've learned a lot about home repairs and have morphed into "handy-woman". This faucet was very easy to install. In fact, it was the easiest faucet I've ever installed. The length of the water lines was enough to connect to the water supply even after moving the sink position 17+ inches away from one water supply. Water flow in both spray and non-spray is excellent. Not only does the faucet look durable, it feels durable. The soap dispenser is a feature that makes my life easier eliminating the need to keep bending to put dish soap away or having the dish soap on the counter - less clutter.

Bought this as a replacement and was very easy to install. I'm a stay at home mom and took me 1 1/2 hours to put together. Been using it for a month now and love how the product works so far.

Repair parts fixed the leak, service was first rate!

Performs decently since 2010 installation by previous owner. Lacks a feature I’ve come to see as essential. The spray setting remains after water is turned off. This has been an issue as I forget to reset stream after use and the wife doesn’t like a surprise spray. In January 2020 the spray selector finally clogged for good. Delta is providing a replacement part.

Love it, it so pretty and shiny

Attractive. I just replaced a second cartridge because the shaft broke off in the handle again. This time I had to drill to extract. This left handle "sloppy". Was gonna replace faucet when I found the warranty. OMG! They are sending me a new handle and cartridge! Delta rocks!

This faucet is exactly what we needed. It fits our sink space perfectly and the pull out spout is great.

Just like everyone else having the same problem. I put in a new cartridge in and it will start to leak 2 months later.

Purchased this DELTA kitchen faucet ..love the design and easy installation..Having a big problem with huge grinding sound made when the water handle is turned for on and off..and water temperature..Sounds Awful~~ Hoping that DELTA will remedy this issue..still under warranty~~!

I bought this three years ago. Since then I've had to replace the nozzle because the switch wouldn't work properly. Now I have a problem with the faucet leaking. The lever would need to be moved around to shut off the leak. Good thing there's a lifetime warranty on parts. I just wish it didn't fail sooner.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT product. Installation was child's play. Really well constructed, very attractive and very ergonomic. Quality is really very nice. The spray and stream buttons work beautifully and are perfectly placed. The chrome finish is beautiful. The soap dispenser is really nicely made. An excellent value with excellent quality!

Product continues to leak even after new cartridge installed. top bonnet nut loosens and has to be retightened every couple months.

We would like this faucet quite a bit except for some issues we're having with it. The button that controls the spray vs non-spray does not work well. And we're having a problem with black specks in the water. A plumber just told us that we need to clean out the faucet head, but he said we needed a special tool to remove the aerator to achieve this. This unit did not come with a special tool for removing the aerator and there's nothing in the manual about it. Reading some other reviews, it looks like perhaps our aerator can not be removed. He was unable to fully clean out the faucet head without being able to remove it.

This faucet has a nice finish and matched my stainless steel sink. It came with a liquid dish washing dispenser. The instructions for installing were clear enough that my college son installed it. Delta has bee a great company and we like their products. They have a large variety of products to suit everyone's need.

We have had this faucet just over 6 years. It worked great for the first couple of years. The past 2 years the button on the wand stopped being easy to switch. Some days I really hurt my finger switching from sprayer to normal flow. Get one without this option! Otherwise it was great.

This faucet was installed no more than a year ago. It leaks constantly and while trying to repair it the part that connects the handle to the lines broke by simply pushing in the button. They sell parts for it but I guarantee that it will totally break before you repair the leak. Believe the reviews this one is not worth the hassle.

Purchased this faucet less than two years ago. It was very easy to install, and looked very good. The faucet broke after about 18 months of use; The faucet has come apart from the base, and is now just an eyesore. Definitely expected better quality from Delta.

I had this faucet professionally installed a year ago. Now the handle won't shut off unless I twist to the right and down several times or more. My Moen faucet lasted 10 years. Now this Delta is a piece of junk, totally not worth a dime. The inside fitting are made of plastic, and won't hold up even with limited use by two seniors. This is one of the most frustrating purchases I have ever made. I hate to even use the faucet, afraid it won't turn off at all. I wouldn't recommend any Delta product if this is the quality they produce.

This faucet seemed to have plastic fittings which have warn out in 1 year. I would really suggest anyone considering a Delta product should look at other brands as their product quality is very poor.

It’s a beautiful faucet. It is much lighter than our old one, so I hope it is durable, but at this point I am very pleased with it.
