Looks great, hubby said it was fairly easy to install. The vent fan is loud on high, but reasonable on lower levels. There's a timer on the unit - which is nice to have another one in the kitchen - it would have been cool if the timer was to shut off the vent fan after a set time frame, but oh well. (We haven't finished the back-splash or painted the cabinet doors yet, but here's a photo.)

I liked this product because the duct cover came out from the wall 11" and thus was sufficient to cover the ceiling hole of the duct pipe. I also liked the glass because it let more light down to the stove top and also tall people wouldn't have their vision obstructed. I liked that it was solidly packaged. There were some installation instruction revisions but my brother and I could figure them out. We bought some super strength drywall plugs to replace the ones in the kit and also an electrical hole protection thingy to protect the wires from the sharp edges of the punched out metal. It's operation is very simple and it is effective for sucking up cooking smells and surprisingly quiet. I would definitely recommend this product.

looks beautiful, works very well. i did end up using the extender kit to accommodate my tall ceilings.

although installation did take awhile as the instructions indicated, the results are worth it. The range hood looks great and I love how easy it is to clean. Everyone who comes into my kitchen comments on how stunning it looks.

This range hood was on sale during the Black Friday sale. We had planned to purchase a similar one, so when it went on sale, we decided to take a chance. It works great. It is so much more quiet than our original one. Even though the light is in the rear of the unit, it still provides quite a bit of light over the stove. On the lowest setting, it can barely be heard. On the highest setting it is a bit noisier, but not bad, and it really provides great venting when cooking. The stainless metal cover from the unit to the ceiling is a bit flimsy, but once secured it looks fine, and it is a beautiful addition to our new kitchen. I would recommend this.

This hood was the exact style we were hoping for, but we didnt want to pay top dollar for it. We caught this on sale for under $350 and jumped on it. Fast delivery to store, well-packaged so no damage when we opened it. My husband installed this in under an hour with very little difficulty. It works great, has 3 settings, but none are louder than any other standard hood. Brand mark doesn't stand out (we wanted something unbranded so it wouldn't be a mismatch with our other appliances). A high-end looking and quality product at a fraction of the price! And the compliments from everyone who sees our kitchen doesn't hurt either.

I'm updating my kitchen on a budget and bought this hood basically for the aesthetics. The update is still in progress, but the hood is installed. Yes, the 2 rear lights are dim, but that is fine with me because we use it more as a 'night-light' anyway. It pulls the steam fine and works as well as any I've seen. The fan has 3 settings and the 3rd is loud. Again, this does not bother me because how long does one need to run the fan on it's highest setting. My husband cooks more often than me and he loves it. He says he cant read the writing next to the buttons but who cares? lol We haven't figured out the clock either but don't care because there's a clock on the stove. They could have left the clock off completely for all we care! I just needed a new hood and wanted something functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's only been up a couple of weeks and I'm happy with the purchase! PS: I purchased this hood online w/store pick-up. It was in my garage about 1month before my contractor put it up (don't know how easy/difficult that was). While surfing FB one Sunday morning, I noticed an ad where MY hood was on sale at HD. I was not happy. Since it had been over a month I was doubtful but contacted HD anyway. What did I have to lose, right? I went to their 'online-chat' and after less than 15mins, I had a $55 rebate in the form of an email gift card! I was in shock! I just knew I was going to have to escalate the chat w/a supv or mgr. Big KUDOS to HD for that one!! Was able to buy my new Pulls+Knobs with that! Also, when I went to pick-up the hood in the store, it didn't fit in my car. One of the store managers put it in their SUV and drove it to my home for free (2.5miles) Again, KUDOS to HD and staff!!

Really nice hood. We replaced a micro range with fan. We now can move smoke and heat out of kitchen. Easy to install. Great power on all levels, quiet and I think the light is fine. We used striated grey 12x24 tiles with glass tiles as accent to glass section of hood, also from Home Depot. Our ceilings were taller then hood so we framed out top and used additional glass tiles. This was a nice fun project.

I love the performance and look of my new range hood. I do think the light should be centered or one on each side.

A little noisy on high speed fan. I like the looks but the stainless steel flue seems a little flimsy. Great for the price.

I love this range hood, but my husband doesn't. His biggest complaint is that the work light is in the back (against the wall) and provides little light. That is true, but I like how quiet the hood is, especially on the lowest setting. We don't have a ceiling fan in the kitchen, so I frequently use it to cool the whole room. The stainless finish is nice, and matches my LG range perfectly.

We did a lot of research before purchasing the Arietta 30 in. Wall Mount Decorative Range Hood. We saw all the different prices and style that is on the market today, but what caught our eyes from this product was the excellent description and the beauty of the Arietta Range Hood. Ever since install in our "New Remodel Kitchen" it has become the center of conversation in our kitchen. Everyone that enters into the kitchen has to stop and admire it and then we have to show it off. By mentioning, the high efficient of the fan and the brightness of the light says it all. Once we turn on the light there is no need for any other light to be on because it brightness my class cooktop like no other and less not forget to mention the three level of the fan that works wonders. There is really no need to place it on high unless we are cooking fish. Then if so I will place it on high and the odor and the smoke will disappear in a blink of eye. I will definitely recommend this product to my family and friends because this products meets all expectation. Its very easy to install, with excellent features, perfect size, stylish , excellent quality and much more. This Arietta 30in. Range Hood has definitely become the center point of our kitchen. To top it off we are proud to mention that we received an excellent costumer service from Home Depot our provider. Thank you Home Depot and Thank you Arietta:)

This product was used in a rental unit I was remolding. It has the look of a professional kitchen, the stlye fits every decoration, and it is the first thing potential renters looked at. They all loved it and it sleek lines gives small spaces a larger feel. I will put this hood in all my rental units. Very good price and looks like it costs a lot more.

This range hood is just what my wife and I were looking for to help complete the look of our kitchen!!!

Installed 2 now, can't beat the look and price, installed them in my remodels and they make kitchen look expensive, but i saved buying this hood. Glass is solid thick, digital display with backlit. easy install.

I purchased this unit in April while remodeling my kitchen. I just installed the unit on July 8, 2012. Installation was easy and it worked right away with no problems. The unit is attractive and the blower is so strong it actually cools the kitchen! The thing I am disappointed in is that the LCD display malfunctions when I boil water. It seems as though the steam gets into the electronics. The bottom segments of the display fade out and the indicators showing blower speed disappear altogether. After things cooled down the display returns to normal after awhile. I am going to try boiling only on the back burner to see what happens, but this cannot be right either way. I really do not want to take it down because a replacement will likely not cover the damage to the glass back splash I had custom installed for this thing. The shipping was about $75 so I am thinking that if it goes bad I am going to toss it in the dumpster and pay a contractor to fix the tiles and start off. Very sad. My opinion is that had I known this I would not have bought it to begin with. I may have saved $100 over another brand, but do youself a favor and buy a better one. I posted a picture so you can see it. Next time I boil water I will post a picture of the failing display.

This is where style meets function. The 3 setttings allow for adjustable venting rates. The highest setting is powerful that is WHY it is louder, but that's actually a good thing. The unit was easy to install and it looks great! The light is not especially powerful, but the glass portion of the hood allows additional light to reach the cook top. This unit was the "Cherry on top" of our kitchen remodel.

Not sure this will work in my remodel.

After 1 year of use, Decor Glass 30 Gas Hood, motor hums,fan does not work. 2 days I'm searching on line to get some information what is wrong with it. Who and where can repair this model? Why so many private questions about customers, when you go on line ? And as a result no right answer.I loved this model Gas Hood,but now I,m very upset and I will not recommend this product to anyone.

It is beautiful and works great! The 2 lower settings on the fan are lower noise level than the highest one! Luckily it works so well, you would not need the highest setting for very long! Absolutely love how attractive it is and how well it works!!! Excellent purchase!!! Probably need a professional installer - I am lucky that my husband is highly skilled and very determined to do a great perfect job on everything he does! Its heavy and needs extra support built inside the wall to support its weight.

I bought this to stage my house for sale. Installation was simple. It functions well, very basic controls. One interesting note: it comes with wires not a plug.

This is the best looking range hood out there for the least amount of money. I bought this one to replace one that was in the house we moved into that was similar. The one we were replacing was the same model but in black instead of stainless steel. The price to replace the clock/computer component was almost as expensive as replacing the unit so we just replaced it instead. I would suggest cleaning the unit regularly because it looks like the one we were replacing got grease in the computer components and shorted the unit's ability to turn the fan down/off.

Beautiful but they left off the part that holds the filter I can not return it it took a contractor all day to install it is not a simple intall and it is very heavy plus glass very fragile I would not buy again

Install went very well. I was able to put it up with only 1 other person to help and it only took an hour or so. The unit is very effective at removing the smoke/heat from the cooktop. I wish the lights would have been more day light light vs warm led. The display is easy to read and on both sides!

Received the unit but came in white, and the add said stainless steel. Returned the unit, and reordered waited another week and it came in white again. They called the manufacture and they could not figure it out !!!
