While the product # is correct (Moen 179101), the image is not. The product is the spout that fills the bathtub and has a lever you pull up to divert the water to the shower head.
The installation was easy even for a 74 year old. The picture on the package tells you exactly what to do to install it. I figured it was going to be easy because removing the old one was easy. It has a very nice chrome finish. I no longer have half my shower water going into the tub <LOL>

Diverter pin came out one week after installing
Loved this spout, very high quality, however the diverter came out one week after installation (approximately 14 uses). I’m hoping this was just a bad part as I’m purchasing the same item as I did really like it.

The product arrived earlier than expected. I liked that the spout was simple to install with a perfect fit. This fixture was the exact match to the exisiting tub hardware in my bathroom. I hope it lasts as long as the previous spout.

Moen quality, unique one step and one piece slip on diverter.
Design look matches 30 plus year old Moen products but without gold top trim. Comes at a 40% premium cost to generic other manufacturer replacement products. $20 difference to keep the Moen design look and replacement policy.

Quality
Loved the look of this spout and the fact that it is metal, not plastic. Was very disappointed when the diverter components fell out less than two weeks after first use.

Replaced an existing Moen diverter spout.
It’s made of metal and solidly built. Seemed much better than the cheaper spouts made of plastic. Hopefully lasts 20
years like one it replaced.

Glad I found this, despite wrong photo
Before heading to my local Home Depot I checked their website for in-stock slip-on diverter tub spouts. I ignored this Moen option because of wrong photo, glad I saw it in the store. It is more money than their Danco options but worth the extra dollars. If you are wanting a solid slip-on type spout, I recommend this over any universal model as it avoids all the adapters which add installation time and are often problematic (read reviews). Styling is same as Moen's Monticello line. For me, this spout was a perfect replacement and installation was a easy as it gets. Very happy with this purchase.
