This drain was recommended with the vessel copper sink I ordered, so I bought it with the intention of returning it if I didn't need/like it. Since it drains constantly and won't hold water, I am very glad because the sink is only 4 or 5 inches deep and might easily overflow. I'm glad we got it and it really looks nice too!

Decorative Grid Drain
This drain was easy to install and fits perfectly. I do think it was a bit pricey, but they have you from the stand point that this is not a standard sized non-overflow drain, so you have to purchase this product for a water tight fit.

Not as pictured
The exposed drain is not as pictured but instead is the cheaper stamped version drain by the same company. There is a metal tailpiece to distinguish it from the cheaper drain.
Overall, disappointed given the price of the drain. I really wanted the rugged look of the picture :(

Response from THD Customer ServiceAug 29, 2013
Hi Jeff,
I apologize for your experience with this product. I did reach out to the MFG for more information on this issue and below is their response to you.
We greatly appreciate all feed back in regards to our product. The product image was recently updated to reflect the new drain. The drain shown in the photo is 100% accurate and is extremely high quality. We change to this new drain because it is a mushroom styled grid drain that allows for excellent drainage compared to inferior flat grid drains. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank You

Nice looking drains that look great with hammered cooper sinks.
We purchased two, to go with our hammered cooper sinks. They look great and hopefully will hold up well.

Perfect match to Copper sink
Color is perfect match for the copper sink we had purchased. Only thing was that no instructions were include so figuring out placement of washers was a bit tricky.

Poor
This was an unnecessary purchase that was indicated necessary when purchasing a sink and had to be returned. The drain came with the faucet set. Also, there is no way to 'plug' the sink with this drain. It has only the open position.
