These grates fit perfect, and look great. We just had new flooring put in and this was a much needed improvement.

Before ugly brown builder grade registers did not coordinate with dove grey carpet. Brushed nickel craftsman/asian style registers are a definite style upgrade.

These look great with my new floors (I tried to wash and spray paint the old ones but they were rusty and bent and not worth it when these were only $12 each). They installed super easy. The back/vent area is plastic which is good because it won't rust but it is difficult to open and shut and I am wondering if airflow won't be more restricted given the design (the slats are wider than the older all-metal ones). We'll see! In the meantime, the design and color are beautiful and classy.

The plate of this is metal. The rest of it is plastic. The plastic is designed so poorly that is cuts down the air flow significantly. Returning. Do not by this brand

We replaced the plain metal vent grills when we laid hardwood flooring. These grates are stylish and match the decor in our home. The price was affordable, too.

This grill goes well with the black and white basket weave tile.

They look good but a bit more shiny than a standard brushed nickel finish. Used them throughout the house. Made a huge difference in appearance

These are way more durable than is expected for the price point. We vacuum weekly and these seem more solid than comparable vents we had previously.

We had all of our flooring completely replaced by a local installer in Brunswick, Ohio. They removed hardwoods, carpet and linoleum floors and replaced with a vinyl plank product. When completed they simply used the drop in vents we had but due to the variety of coverings previously they we were different quality and coloring to match those floors. We went on line and found these drop in vents and replaced each and every one. Very nice quality and a perfect look and match to compliment our floors. When the carpets in the bedrooms get replaced in the next months I'll be ordering another batch of the same to finish our remodel. These vents I ordered and amazingly arrived within 24 hours after purchasing on line. Even more surprisingly is that the shipping was free and there was not one vent damaged as all arrived pristinely wrapped ion the parcel. Great buy and well worth the price!

Absolutely gorgeous. This really added a highlight to our newly redone bathroom that we didn't even realize we were missing.

We love the modern look of these grates, and the quality is top-notch. The grate itself is pretty sturdy steel, and the damper box below is a high quality plastic. The plastic does not rattle like metal vane dampers, but they do block a little bit more airflow than metal vanes.

I like the style of these grates and I am happy with them. Because of the size of my vent openings I had limited options to choose from but overall I am happy with this choice. My only disappointment is that they either direct the air up or off. Theres no way to channel the air out. Luckily these vents are not under a window otherwise they would blow the air under the drapes.

I bought a houseful and the metal is flimsy and bends if in a traffic area. The vent underneath is cheap and breaks where attaches to the top vent plate. Will not Buy again.

We purchased this online and the color matched perfectly with our new vinyl flooring, it gave it a much nicer finish than the basic registers we found in stores.

They look BEAUTIFUL, absolutely love the look. I realized after my power bill almost doubled that they blow out half the amount of air/heat as a traditional register. I am currently reordering the traditional ones.

Stylish and sturdy. Only negative is the way the damper mechanism allows air to pass through. At full open the design only is half opened. Cheap old fashioned registers have a thin metal damper that pivots open allowing full air flow. These have a sliding set of openings that either align or close off another set of slots.

I recently installed hardwood floors in our house (red oak, gunstock finish), and I wanted registers that would look nice, not cheap. These did the job well and were actually $7/unit cheaper than I was led to expect. They fit well, look good, allow good air flow, and the plastic interior closure opens and closes smoothly and easily (unlike some all-metal registers). Quite satisfied.

It looks beautiful against my new tiles. I just wish it was available in a larger size so I could match it.

I'll agree with most of the reviews and admit these are STUNNING to look at! I have gotten many compliments on how unique they look. Now, let me give you the truth about function. I live in Florida in a mobile home and installed these in December, no problems whatsoever. This week (April) we hit the low 90's temp wise and I noticed my AC unit ran all day long and the lowest my thermostat would hit in my main living area was 79 degrees (that's with 3 registers in about a 13 by 30 foot area). Keep in mind, my home is completely re-done, the roof is great, home is insulated well, plantation blinds closed, thermal curtains shut, windows & doors caulked, filter changed on time every three weeks. Our ac unit and duct work are less than 6 months old, so after checking out everything myself and eliminating the normal suspects, I called in my AC guy. Everything checked out perfect, the problem: My AC guy HATES these registers, specifically because the flow rate is low, the individual slats that are adjustable are just too narrow, which was impeding the air flow, therefor causing my ac to run all day to keep up. I immediately pulled my old registers out of my shed, dropped them in and in 20 minutes my home was a comfy 75 degrees without the AC struggling. The humidity in my house was noticeably gone. Problem solved. So yes, these are gorgeous, but if you live in a place that you intend on keeping cool without jacking up your electric bill, go with the cheaper, simple ones, with larger adjustable slats. I loved these, but in the long run, they are going to cost you out of pocket way more than they are worth. I have added pics so that you can see what I am taking about, vent size wise. I'm running out today to return the "twice the price pretty ones", for the cheaper $7.00 vents, cause the pics, are my old ones, I just snapped them for ya'll for reference

LOVE!! This is a great product. Looks great against my hardwood floors and white trim. It is very durable. Does not scratch or mark up easily.

Gives the floor a more upscale look than the plain builder registers. The plastic underside should help this product against rusting as the cheap builder registers do. The only thing I don't like is the plastic underside and the metal topside are not joined very well. Looks like they are just snapped together with very small tabs which easily fall off if bumped by the vacuum cleaner. Also they don't fit as snug as the builder grade register vents but they can be moved about until they cover the opening in the floor.

Gorgeous high quality floor register. Looks pricey but an excellent value.

It's just a simple floor register, but it's design really looks nice against our new dark hardwood floor! Very stylish!
