Customer Reviews for Danze Single-Handle Pressure Balance Mixing Valve with Screwdriver Stops and Diverter in Rough Brass

I purchased this valve and the matching trim for a seated shower. My disabled wife wanted something easier to get in and out of than the bathtub. Since the shower was 5 feet in length, I mounted the control on the back wall for her easy reach and connected the bottom outlet to a handheld shower. With the built-in diverter, she can easily switch from the handheld to the regular shower overhead. The unit had some weight and appears to be good quality. I have had no issues with the unit. It also came quickly, before the estimated arrival date.

it was difficult for me to find its face plate. Home depot suggestions are wrong . i had to order its face plate from danze company. the one get sells in home depot doent fit. i had a hard time

Great product and I'm pretty happy with the performance!

The directions were simple and complete. I made the wall out of concrete and tile and used shark fittings for ease of installation. I will purchase another for my other shower. The looks and quality are very nice.

It was a retro fit in a turn of the century bathroom. Cut a perfect 6 inch hole using a portable grinder with masonry dry cut blade. The instruction sheet mentioned nothing about the screwdriver stops. Function or adjustments. I did not touch them and all seems well where they are. It is the second single handle install I have done the other was in a rental a different brand not needing a diverter.

Very easy to install and works really well. the one it is replacing had to have the washers in the diverter valve replaced about every 6 months or so and I am hping this one will last a bit longer. Due to the design of the washer, I presume this will wear in a similar fashion but I do not know yet as I have only had it installed for about 2 months.

I have owned Danze since 2008. I am especially pleased with there customer service. In reference to the one who had a defective part that bought a new one and exchange the part and then returned it to the store, all you had to do was call danze # listed on the bottom of you papers. Give them your name and info and the would have sent you a new one . There is a life time warranty. If its bad they replace it. It took about 3 day for my part to arrive.

After $200 additional in plumber's fee to investigate the problem with the Danze shower system after it had been installed, it was discovered that one of the valve controls was defective. The most efficient way to solve the issue was to buy a second mixing valve and swap out the defective part, and return the mixing valve with the defective piece inserted. Crazy. The only thing that saved the expereince from being too difficult is Home Depot's good customer service. Overall, I cannot recommend Danze fixtures. They look good but the craftsmanship is not there. Buy a more established brand.
