Tile looks great once it is down. Had some shipping issues. 1 box out of 31 was cracked when picked up at Home Depot but they did reimburse me and reordered. Ordered three more boxes and again 1 box was busted up. Since the store didnt carry this tile it did put a halt to my project but shipping was pretty fast. Very happy with the end product and Kitchen Remodel though.

The 18x18 tile worked very well. This was for a repair and the tile is no longer made and I ended up needing a little more than the 12" we had so it worked to our advantage.

Nice tile, but one box arrived with a significant number of damaged/broken tiles
Tile is nice, although my wife thought it looked slightly different (better) online than in person. It is a bit difficult to get a good estimation of what the tile might look like based on a small online picture of one tile, but that is not a reflection of the tile quality or true appearance. We chose a slightly lighter grout, which works well. The one negative I would point out was that one of the boxes had a significant number of damaged and broken tiles. These had to be used at the edges of the room where they were going to be cut anyway. Had I not ordered extra tiles in the event something like this occurred, it would have affected our timeline for completion and our costs. We got lucky and had exactly the number of tiles we needed, with not a single tile leftover to spare.

Bathroom Floor Tile
Tile was ordered as extras for when we have our current bathtub replaced with a larger capacity one. We anticipate that those next to the base of the tub will be damaged during the demo process. Tiles are an exact match for the existing ones. Note: The corners of four tiles were broken of during transit or handling. I didn't report the damage at the time as I will be needing many half tiles.

Excellent Quality + Bargain Price = Value
I'm a professional tile setter who's in the process of laying 500 square feet of flooring and tiling a bathtub surround. I typically select Daltile brand porcelain tile for a few reasons: most but not all of their product is made in America, it's very good quality and the square foot price is very competitive. This porcelain tile has a much thicker finish on it than cheaper ceramic tiles. This translates into less defective tiles out of the box and less chips when cutting. It's only logical that a thicker finish will also be more durable than a lesser grade tile with a thinner finish, especially relevant for high traffic floor areas. I find very few odd-sized tiles; they pretty much all run true to size which makes lining up grout lines drama free. Also, there's nothing more frustrating than having to pry or chip out defective tiles that have been installed because you missed a finish flaw or mis-sized piece! This is rarely an issue for me with Daltile. The bullnose and end cap pieces are just as high quality as the flat tiles and the color patterns are identical (you'd be surprised how often these trim pieces don't exactly match their flat tile counterparts). I'm the kind of person who, when he finds a quality product, stays loyal to the manufacturer to both reward them for their high production standards and to minimize my problems during an installation. I will keep specifying Daltile for future projects for exactly these reasons.

Tile has no shine
The product overview stated this tile has a low sheen glaze. The tile I received from special purchase is VERY dull in sheen. I only hope it looks better on my floor than in the box. Does anyone know how I could get a nice satin sheen on this tile once it is installed?

Tile ordered and received promptly in good condition.
The tile matched the tile that was installed about 4 yrs ago with very slight run difference, but blends very well. No problems. Thanks for the free shipping.
