WIFI camera with cell phone control for at home peace of mind.
This WIFI camera is a nice tool for your home or business. You are able to configure it to your iPhone or Android device to real-time monitor the camera and audio. The camera has a color and night vision automatic mode that it sets to upon light detection. You can choose it to trigger an alarm if something moves past the lens. You are able to move the camera left and right/up or down, however, the zoom feature doesn't seem to work on this model. The App is very limited and seems quite rushed when the GUI was developed. The installation was rather lengthy and required the reboot of my router and phone a few times. Once connected over my home WIFI network, the camera was easy to use. The delay from the command on the app to what you actually see is minimal. The picture quality is very nice. I was able to set this camera up and go to work, while monitoring my dog to make sure she was not misbehaving. I attached a picture that I grabbed from my iPhone. Overall, I give this camera a review of average.

Nice but vary hard
Camera was vary hard to install I know lots about PC but program was as bad as can be instructions were no help seems the DVD had problems and there are many biases with this too numerous to list but here is what I consider top 1 Don't own a router? You cannot use this camera 2 PC owner? It is vary complicated install my problem I was unable to use my PC program to run the software for cam corrupt software maybe it was isolated case? where I got bad copy of software? but at this point my PC rejects it and cannot install it or reinstall it or uninstall it..... People in who have access to internet but not router cannot use these cams Many other issues...... Who can who cannot In the photo I did get it to work with help of tec help my PC rejected the software but my droid works the cams nicely but have to be 100 feet from my router to get it to work but this is learning curve for me dispite a professional Imaging background most difficult thing ever for my to date working on my droid but limitations

It's Ok But There Are Better Options
I tried this DIY wireless/wired IP camera for over a week before writing this review. I wanted to give adequate time to see if my initial impression would change or remain the same. Along with the camera you get a CAT 5E Ethernet cable, the software disk, an optional mounting stand and hardware, a power cable, and a quick start guide. The initial set up was fairly easy and requires connecting the camera to your router, plugging in the power, and downloading the app for iOS or Android. With the app I scanned the QR code on the camera and the app did the rest. Switching to WiFi took a few tries but it worked. After a week of use here are the pros and cons as I see them... Pros - Fairly easy set up Can record to SD card which means no fees for cloud recording Can pan and tilt Tons of options (motion detect, alarm connection, 2-way talk, etc) Surprisingly good picture quality Cons - Cheap build quality Poorly designed app WiFi viewing was hit and miss for me (and I have an excellent router) Pan and tilt was jerky and a pain to use This IP camera is decent but at it's current price point, there are other cameras that are easier to use and of better quality.

If I can set it up........anyone can do it!
I'm not great with computers,had my son help me set it up. Took about two hours to install but we were unable to connect to my I-phone. Called customer support, best customer support I have ever had! Joe and Michael were great, ten minutes all problems were resolved! Love my camera!

      It's doing it's job
      I bought this camera to monitor outside my front door from inside the house. The picture is a bit grainy looking out and I did notice that the quality was much better when the camera in working on an indoor setting. But it's doing what I need it to do. I'll say it took a couple of tries to get it working off the wifi but I realized the closer to the router the better the service. Talked with their customer service and was told a repeater might be needed if there is some distance which makes sense. The router in the basement and the camera set in the living room upstairs was flaky. On the same floor they work great.

      The 3 easy steps are really more like 24 steps
      Have been trying to set my camera up for weeks. Can't get passed my router password. Don't understand why the camera will not auto recognize the router like other devices.

        Software was far too complicated, and hard to use. Playback was also complicated and unintuitive. Contacted tech support twice (who were easy to get ahold of, and helpful as they could be), but couldn't help with a poor product. Poor software design. Easily returned the product directly to store for refund.

        Bad and Cheap
        Very unhappy with product...Cheaper camera work better...I do not recommend

          They have this QR code scan that makes setting the IP camera complete in 3 simple steps. I can now watch my camera with my smartphone where ever i go.

            Ok product for an entry level camera
            It was easy to set up and easy to use. The software is really user friendly. I have not decided on a permanent location yet and I just may not. Its easy enough to set it up and use it in different locations as needed until you can add more cameras of this quality or better

            OK WHEN IT WORKS PLUGGED IN
            OK well if you want to keep it wired into your router it work pretty good and the pictures is OK, but every time I go through the steps to set it up for wireless and I unplug it from the router it losses connection. I would not suggest this product to anyone, I feel there is a better and small security cameras out there on the market.

            Great live view when it works
            The actual live view from the camera was great, even at night. It is small, compact and easy to mount. However, because of the way it connects to the internet, it worked for 2 days and then would be down for 2 days. After 2 hours on the phone with my internet provider and 45 min on the phone with the tech guy from the camera manufacturer, we called it quits. We returned the cameras to the store for a full refund. We have purchased a totally different system from a different security camera company instead.

            IPCAM-SD "Wireless WiFi Security Cam"
            This is NOT WiFi... or Wireless... the instructions are out of date and DO NOT work. Tech support couldn't make this work! HOWEVER... if you can get eNet cable where you want the cam it appears to work locally ONLY. I-Phone ap DOES NOT work... Internet program DOES NOT work... The bottom of one of the two I purchased fell off during set up. Thank God Home Depot will let me return them...

            Best ip camera i seem yet
            I really like this product... did not have any trouble setting it up the Pc or IPhone. Once you get the hang of it.... it's really work nice

            Surprised
            Not being very computer savvy, this looked like a problem for me to configure all the router numbers and subnets ??? But a simple call to SecurityMan tech support, they did answer right away and walked me through the procedure quickly. Great product and a good value for the money. Installed in my shop for security and recording of entry's
