Very useful tool. Making my DIY work much easier and more efficient. Tool work great and as expected.

I am a DIY'er and a corded tool that is ready when I need it to be (no battery charging issues) is the best choice for me. Super long cord is very convenient. The tool is excellent.

I like tool cut drywall like butter. Only reason I did rate high is bit change is a little hard have to ho 2 button and turn but it works. At half price cordless version i could see spend money on tool that used offten

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is so smooth and easy to trace rough framing or mud rings. Also easy to free hand cut outs.

I was excited to have this tool to cut the drywall hole by putting the drywall against frame, which would save me lots of time. However the work was not that easy. I found the cutting was causing few problems. I was very careful to cut the hole in counter clock direction so since the turning bit is tend to be forcing to the left along the cutting route. However I found that when cutting bit reached the Metal piece of the electrical box, I hardly can feel it.As result I ended with damaged few metal ears of the electrical box. But when I reduced the bit length to avoid cutting the metal I would tend not to be stopped by the metal below the drywall, resulting the missing turning point. Eventually I used the old way that use a lip colour to die on the edge of the electrical box, and push the drywall against the box, making mark on the drywall. Even though it is a bit time consuming but it’s very easy, accurate and makes no mistake.

These unit works very well for its intended purpose. A cordless unit would have more practical (no extension cord required), but my small bsmt renovation didn't warrant the extra expense. This works so much better than trying to pre-cut the drywall around the electrical boxes. makes a beautiful custom fit. You may want to practice on a piece of scrap drywall before tackling a full sheet of drywall.

Nice tool. Great for cutting around the junction boxes and windows. Delivery was kind of slow. Almost 2 weeks.

Bought to help drywall a 1 bedroom suite. Works well. Took some getting used to finding the edge of electrical boxes through 5/8” drywall. Liked the “bump off” switch! Handy when you hands are full.

This cut out tool is incredible! I wish I'd embraced newer techniques sooner. Makes drywall cutting much much easier than a jab saw and/or utility knife. The top mounted "bump off" switch makes post-cut shut off easier and safer as there is no fumbling for the button. The case is nice as it has space for extra bit storage. Highly recommend this tool.
