My only criticism of this product is, it doesn't have a screw in the middle to secure it to the outlet. I have mine mounted in an outlet above my workbench, where looks don't necessarily matter, so I fashioned a small bracket and secured it to the wall. Now I can unplug things from the device without having to hold it in place.

This protector was purchased on April 30 from the website since it was not available from the store. We picked it up on May 4th. It arrived on May 1, much sooner than expected. Chose this one because this wall tap surge protector extends out from the wall 1 1/4 inches from the outlet cover and the outlets swivel so that the cords that are plugged into it extend from the side, not in front of the surge protector thus saving space and a cleaner look which is the main reason it was bought. It was rated for 2100 joules and up to $75,000 equipment replacement. Do not like the facts that it does not have an on-off switch, it covers the bottom outlet on the wall outlet (although having 6-outlet makes up for this), and if the protected and grounded lights are not on, you need to replace this surge protector.

Well placed and easy to connect receptacles. On the outside everything looks and functions well. On the back side the connection to the wall receptacle has the connection on the bottom and the top side has a single plastic pin. This arrangement is not holding the unit firmly in place, which causes it to hang out in an angle. The receptacle connector should be on the top and the guiding pin on the bottom. As it is, I can't recommend the device.

Great surge protector. Only thing that will make it better is being able to screw the plug into the outlet.

A good product
Tha only problem with the multi outlet is that it only uses 1 outlet to hold the 6 outlets in place. When you add multiple plugs on it, it starts to pull out of the socket. It needs some additional support to retain it.
